Finding embedded outcomes
Definition 
• Intended Learning Outcomes 
– Intentionally taught, facilitated, & assessed 
• Embedded/Implicit Learning Outcomes 
– Learning outcomes, likely present, but unassessed 
at the time of the learning experience.
