- 2. Front Cover Process For my title of the magazine I wanted it to stand out and to be eye catching, I also wanted it to go in theme with my magazine, so I went for a gold movie style look. I’ve included the details of what’s inside the magazine and the main titles that would be covered so the reader automatically knows what will be discussed inside. For my main image I wanted it to stand out, so I chose the joker due to his vibrant clothing which contrasts against the darkness of the background and the joker is an easy recognizable figure so it immediately catches the audiences eyes. I’ve included images from other movies as well to show the audience what the magazine will feature, so if they don’t like the look of one movie, hopefully they’ll be one that they are interested in. I’ve included a quote from the movie as well, that can relate to the magazine. I’ve put what the magazine is about in bold white writing so it’s different to the rest of the fonts and it draws the reader to know what the magazine is about.

Reflection - I would include the fonts I’ve used in my front cover for my final cover, I was thinking of doing my one very similar to my experiment, I would include the tape roll but I would probably add more to fit more movies inside. The colour scheme I was going for is black, blue and gold and the writing font white because I think those colours have worked well in my experiment. - The thing I would change in my final cover would be the main picture because I have to include a picture I’ve taken myself I would either include a picture of someone holding a directors board in front of their face or someone sat in a chair eating popcorn with 3D glasses on. - My central image I want to be eye catching, in my experiment I chose a picture of the Joker because the clothing and choice of colours he’s wearing is eye catching and as the joker is a recognizable figure the magazine would stand out. So when I come to my main cover I want the picture to stand out so I would get my person to wear colours that would contrast against the dark background of my cover. - The main thing I will change in my cover is the central image, I will also try different fonts but I quite like how my experiments turned out so I think I’d stick to the same style as that.

I’ve included a page which has pictures from the movies and quotes from them next to them, I thought this might interest the reader more. I’ve done the title for the page the same color as the title on the front of the magazine. I’ve put a background image on page so it wasn’t just black because I found that quite boring and I think it would draw people in having a background picture I wanted a page with less writing on and it can focus on other subjects I was going to put a description next to the picture but I didn’t have much room so I went with quotes instead.
- 5. Reflection - I would include the pictures and movie quotes in my final product because I think it would work quite well, in my final product I want to do 3 pages so the single page can be the movie quote page. - I would also include a background image but not the same one I’ve used in my experiment because when I was trying to put in writing you couldn’t see it because the face is the same colour as my writing, which is why there’s not as much writing on the first page. - I would also stick with my background colour being black because it stays in theme with my front cover and the font I used for the title I will keep the same as well because I think the gold goes well against the black. - In my final product I would probably experiment more with adding more images and text just so it doesn’t look too plain. - I would add a list for my top 10 movies as well which I haven’t included in my experiment and I might try and have a picture that spreads across to the other page as well.
