MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON Greetings from the FIMT Group of Institutions, a NAAC Accredited and ISO-9001:2008 ,14001:2004 certified Group of Institutions, backed by a legacy of 41 years in shaping student's career! We offer undergraduate degree programmes affiliated to GGS IP University. Our beautiful main campus is located on National Highway-8, near the IG International Airport, New Delhi. A green, pollution free and eco-friendly campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Man history is a journey of return to integrity; that state of certainty which is his birthright that he remembers as lost paradise. PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM/GROUP DISCUSSION/ MOCK INTERVIEW SESSIONS :Soft skills supplement technical skills. The two together transform you into a well-groomed individual ready for the corporate world. If you conduct a quick reality check, you'll find that most applicants for a job are at par when it comes to academic and technical competence in which case the final criteria for selection are communication skills, conduct and grooming. That is why FIMT includes soft skills in its curricula. The program addresses aspects of human personality like trust building, assertiveness training, decision-making, survival skills, resume writing, interview skills, stress management and language competence, among others. COUNSELLING SERVICES :Becoming a college student is an exciting time that brings many adjustments and challenges. Students come to our Counselling Center to talk with us about their feelings, concerns and choices they are facing during their study. We listen, support, and help them to make the most of their educational experience. The student do not have to severe problems to come to the Counselling Center. Services are available to all the students who are interested in personal growth and exploration. We frequently meet with students, faculty and others who are worried about students, friends, or roommates. We can help understand what the problems might be and how the concerned person can intervene. These and our other services are confidential and voluntary . INDUSTRIAL VISITS : To make students understand the real work environment and challenges they will face on completion of the course the students of Management, IT and Hospitality are taken on Industrial visits to IDPL, Hero Honda, Parley-G, Maruti Udyog, Mother Dairy etc. to study the Management, HR, Finance, Supply Chain Management and other related areas. On the basis of the Industrial Visits the students work on Projects assigned by the concerned faculty. Whatever your motivation, we have continuing education option that's right for you. Collectively, these options offer an appealing array of courses, programs, locations and modes of delivery to meet the needs of every adult learner. By continuing your education with us, you will enjoy affordable courses that integrate theory with applied experience and challenge you to expand your mind. All courses are taught by well- qualified faculty who take a personalized approach to students' learning. In addition, we provide academic advising, writer's workshops, IT services, library access and other services designed to help non-traditional students
- 5. NEW STUDENT Are you a new or recently accepted student to FIMT? The staff of the Rural Community Health Center congratulates you on your acceptance to FIMT.The Medical professionals,allied health professionals, the nursing and office staffs look forward to confidentially serving you for your health and pharmaceutical needs. There are several documents in this section which are required to be filled and submitted by every new student and their family. If you have not completed the following forms and requirements, please feel free to print them, then post-mail or fax them to FIMT at the addresses at the end of this document. We do not accept e-mailed documents. The Institute requires that every new student or recently accepted student complete and return the Medical History Questionnaire . It is also important that students who are under 18 years of age or above .must obtain a parent/guardian signature before treatment . We would also like to inform you about many services which are offered to you at the Health Center. Please refer to our brochure which is mailed to every newly accepted student or browse through our web pages. Note to Parents Entering Professional Education is a landmark time for both children and parents. It is an opportunity for your students to learn how to make many of their own decisions, while you begin to 'let go' of some of the involvement you have had in their daily lives. While we at the Rural Community Health Center must communicate within the limits of medical confidentiality and privacy, we can explain in detail our general practices and policies to you if you call or write us a note. We wish to be your student's medical resource while they are away from home. Please be encouraged to contact us at any time. Dear Parent or Guardian We are interested in your student's success and good health while enrolled at FIMT. As a mandatory condition we shall have to obtain permission to treat minors or patients under eighteen and above years. If your student will still be a minor upon arrival at FIMT or even above the age of 18 years, we have included the Consent to Treat Form for your signature to facilitate treatment should your son/daughter request to be seen at the Health Center. Please complete and return the consent form prior to the beginning of the first semester. Our staff looks forward to serving your son/daughter's health and medical needs as a student at FIMT.
