- 2. Then (History of Fairmacs) Established in 1956, by Mr.Manek Modera and Mr.Homi Modera The Moderas built a reputation for Bonded Warehousing of Duty Free goods. 1982, Mr. Sudhir Shete (presently a director of Fairmacs) and Mr. Raju Shete (director of RadhaKrishna Offshore) bought Fairmacs Trading Company from The Moderas.
- 3. Now (Fairmacs at 2011) Activities - Range from Shipping and Freight forwarding to Logistics. Chartering, Ship Owning and housekeeping is also undertaken on a large scale. Own Branches at all ports and Inland container In India. Overseas Setup at Singapore, Malaysia, Colombo, Bangladesh, Dubai UK and USA as well as associates and agents all over the world. Number of employees with the firm inclusive of all activities - over 700.
- 4. SHIPPING & CHARTERING One of the important activities that is being successfully handled by our FAIRMACS GROUP is Shipping & Chartering . SHIPPING:- We have Coastal Cargo Division , where we handle Break-Bulk Shipment along the coast. We move break-bulk cargo such as construction materials, cement, sand, steel, bitumen and other general cargo and Containers from Chennai / Kakinada/ Vizag to Andaman & Nicobar Island and Inter-island. We move timber logs from Yangoon to Vizag.
