Jorge Gallegos took pictures of different types of rocks at Scaggs Bridge Park in Kerman, CA and Pismo State Beach. The pictures show conglomerate, a type of sedimentary rock found along the San Joaquin River. Red chert, another sedimentary rock, was photographed next to the river. Siltstone, made of small sediment grains, and samples of the igneous rock basalt and metamorphic rock quartzite were collected from Pismo State Beach.
