Filmora adalah software keluaran Wondershare Software. Ia adalah all-in-one video
editor dengan functionality yang sangat hebat dan adalah app yang paling bagus untuk
mengedit video serta mudah difahami. Ia dilengkapi dengan pelbagai kemudahan untuk
kegunaan pengguna.

System Requirements
Supported OS : Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10 (32 bit dan 64 bit)
Processor : Intel or AMD processor, 1GHz atau above
RAM : At least 512M phsycal RAM

Download & Install
If you haven't downloaded the software, click the button below to download, choose
Mac or Windows Version depending on your OS.And then follow the instruction to finish
the installing process.
Register
To register the program, you could go to Easy Mode or Full Feature Mode, and then
input the registration code and licensed email.
1.Easy Mode

After you select Easy Mode to get access to the program, please select Help under
the Menu, then find register... option. Then please copy and paste the registration
code and licensed e-mail to register it. Please ensure there’s no trailing blank when
entering your licensed E-mail and registration code.
2.Full Feature Mode
Or you could select Full Feature Mode to get access to the progam, then find Register
button under REGISTER on the top menu. And then copy and paste the registration
code and licensed email to activate the program.
Update
There are two ways to make an update of WondershareFilmora. You can follow below
steps to update automatically.
1.Please choose Settings under FILE on top menu.
2.Change Check for upgrades automatically to Every
Day/Week/Month/Never accordingly.

3.If you choose check for upgrade automatically Every Day, it will pop up a Live Update
window, please select Update Now to download the package.
4.After downloading, please press OK to terminate the program and install the new
version. You can also click Cancel to install it next time.
If you prefer the current version you are using, please choose Never to stop the update.
Whenever you need an update, please choose Check for update under Help to make
an update manually.

If you miss the live update window, you can also click the link below to download the

Tips: In order not to lose any project, no matter which way above you select, please
save your work manually before the update.
Uninstall
Right-click the icon of the program on desktop, and select Open File Location, it will
direct to the installation folder of this program. Find a file unis000.exe, double click it to
uninstall the program.

Navigating Filmora
WondershareFilmora comes with 2 different video editing modes – Easy Mode and Full
Feature Mode with two skins (light skin and dard skin) to meet your video editing needs.
You can shift the skin promptly by selecting LIGHT SKIN or DARK SKIN at the right
corner.


After launching Filmora, choose a mode to get started. Please make sure you select the
right aspect ratio for your video display (4:3 or 16:9) when you start working on your
project.
1. Easy Mode
Easy Mode lets you easily create your own movie by providing various built-in themes.
Simply import photos/video clips, choose a theme, add music and you're done.
Tips: Easy mode will select the best scenes of your work to export automatically. So if
you need to export your project with full duration, please choose Advanced mode to
create your work. Plus the projects created in Easy mode and Advanced mode are not
interchangeable.



2. Full Feature Mode
Full Feature Mode comes with all the fully-customizable timeline editing features to
arrange scenes, edit clips, and add polish to your movie.
Run Filmora and choose Full feature mode to enter.

1. Media Library: The Library is the source for all your media, including video
clips, photos, and music. It also houses transitions, effects, and a variety of other
media assets that you can use in your projects.
2. Preview Window: The Preview Window shows the video currently being
played in the Timeline or Storyboard. The position of the playhead is shown in
the time code in the lower right corner. You can enter a new time code to jump to
a specific point in the video.
3.Toolbar: The toolbar provides easy access to many editing commands. You
can change your project view, zoom in and out on the Timeline, and launch
different tools that can help you edit efficiently.
4. Timeline/Storyboard: The Timeline or Storyboard is where you assemble the
media clips for your video project. You can click; to switch between the
Timeline and Storyboard view.

Create a Project
For every project you create, Filmora creates a project file. This file contains the settings
you select for each sequence in the project, as well as edit decisions, effects, and music
used in the project.
Filmora project doesn't store video, audio, or image files in the project file—it stores only
a reference to each of these files based on the filename and location of the file at the
time you imported it. If you move, rename, or delete a source file later, Filmora can't find
it automatically the next time you open the project. In this case, Filmora offers you an
option to archive your source files all together with the project.

1. Create a new project

Launch Filmora and choose an aspect ratio for your video. Your options are: 16:9
(widescreen), 4:3 (standard), 1:1 (square), and 9:16 (portrait). If you are using Filmora
in Full Feature Mode you can open a new project (FILE > New Project) and then select
an aspect ratio for your new project.
2. Save a project
Click FILE>Save project or Save project as or use hotkeys of Ctrl+S , it will be saved at
.wve extension. It can be recognized by Filmora only.
3. Open a project
a. Open a recent project
Re-launch Filmora, choose Open recent at the top right corner. Or select Open recent
under FILE.
b. Open an existing project
Launch Filmora, select Open recent at the top right corner to reload the .wve project file
directly. If you are in Filmora, please choose Open Project (Ctrl+O) to reload .wve file.
4. Move project to another computer(archive project file)
Click FILE>Archive Project or use hotkeys of Shift+Ctrl+A. It will archive the project file
together with the source files in *.zip format for easy moving to another computer. After
you archive the project file, it will be saved as a zip file, which including the Media folder
of the source files and the project file in .wve. To open it, you just need to unzip the file
first, and double click the .wve.
5. Relocate missing media files
Once you change the location of the source files or rename, delete them, or you
disconnect the external drive where you saved the source files of the project originally
with the computer, the project cannot find them any more through the saved path. It will
show you the windows with the path of the missing files. You have to click the
magnifying glass icon to relocate the missing files through the Original Path and then

press OK to reopen the original project. If the files have been deleted permanently, you
can also find other media files as replacement.

Importing Media
After a project is built, you can now import your media files to the program.
WondershareFilmora enables you to import video shot by any type of digital camera,
camcorder, mobile device, etc.—and with all major standard and HD video formats. Or,
if you want, you can record a video directly with your computer's webcam. A Media
Library is also provided for you to organize your media clips so you can easily and
quickly access assets for your projects.

2. Record Video with Filmora
You can also record a video file from Webcam, record the PC screen and record the
voiceover using the built-in video recorder. Follow the steps blow to learn how:
1. Record from Webcam:
To use this feature, you should first make sure the webcam is connected to your PC
properly.
Click the Record button ;on the upper left of the Media library panel. In the
pop up Capture Video window, click Record to start recording and click it again to stop
recording. Then click OK to save the recorded video file in the default Captured file
folder.
The recorded video file will be added to Media Library automatically and you can drag it
onto the Timeline.
2. Record PC screen:

Choose "Record PC Screen" from the Record menu, then the Wondershare Screen
Recoder window will pop up, you can set the aspect ratio of the screen frame. Hit the
Rec button to start the recording, and hit F9 to stop the recording. The recorded video
file will be added to Media Library automatically and you can drag it onto the Timeline.
3. Record voiceover
Choose "Record a voiceover" under the Record menu, make sure the microphone is
connected to your PC properly. Hit the Record button, and it leaves you 3 seconds to
get ready. A audio track will be added to the timeline while you are recording.
3. Filter Media by Video/Image/Audio

4. Sort Media by Date/Duration/Name
Rank the files according to its Name, Duration, Date Created, Ascending or
Descending.
5. Locate media rapidly
Locate the media files you imported, the music, filters, overlays, and elements directly
by searching the name in the Search bar

After all the media files have been imported, you can now edit them in your video
project. You can edit the sequences by arranging clips in the order you want them to
appear in your movie, and "clean up" your video footage, edit out the unwanted parts

1. Select Clips in the Media Library
1. Select one media file: click a thumbnail.
2. Select multiple media files: press and hold [Ctrl], and then click the thumbnails you
want.
3. Select a sequence of media files: click the first thumbnail in the sequence, press and
hold [Shift], and then click the last thumbnail in the sequence.
Note: You can locate the media file directly by searching its name in the Search bar

2. Delete Media Clips from the Media Library
In the Library, right click the clip and select DELETE.
Note: When you delete a clip from the library, only the reference is deleted not the
actual clip. All the clips still remain in their original location since they are just
referenced in the Media Library. You can still find the file in the location where it is
stored.
3. Add Clips to a Video/PIP Sequence in the Timeline
Do one of the following to add clips to the Timeline panel in Filmora:

 Drag and drop the thumbnail of the media file in the media library panel to the Timeline.
 Choose target, right click to ADD CLIP or APPLY TO PIP.
Tips: Automatically the file will be dropped at the very beginning of the video track.
When you drag and drop the next one, that will be sticking to the previous file
automatically. It is designed to prevent the black frames from generating after exporting
the video.
What's more, for better arranging your clips, WondershareFilmora allows you to add up
to 10 PIP tracks.
4. Access Sample Colors or Sample Intro Video
Filmora also provides several sample colors or intro video. To get access these
resources, just click "User's Album" and choose SAMPLE COLORS or SAMPLE
VIDEO.

5. Delete Clips from Timeline
Do one of the following:
 Right click a clip and select DELETE
 Select a clip and hit the DELETE button in the menu section or the Delete button on
the keyboard
6. Trim Video Clips
If you need to trim the video from the beginning or the end of the video, hang your
mouse at the front/rear of the clip until shows, drag it forward or backward to
unleash in the position where you want to trim an unwanted part.

If you need to cut a section in the middle of the video, drag the slider to the start point
and the end point of the unwanted part, press the scissor icon to split the video first,
select the unwanted part, press Del button to remove it.
7. Split Video Clips
Split clip manually on timeline Drag the playhead to the position you want to split, click
/right click and choose SPLIT.

 right click on target clip in the media library panel, choose SCENE DETECTION
 a dialog pops out, click DETECT
 Wait a few secs for the smart-splitting to finish. After finish detecting, you can select the
unwanted scene and press DELETE to remove it
 Lastly press Apply to apply all the scenes onto the timeline for further editing

8. Rotate or Flip a Video Clip
With the rise of smartphone-captured video, you've more than likely come across a few
videos that were filmed sideways which make viewing difficult, luckily Filmora offers the
rotate or flip function to help fix that. To rotate or flip a clip:
1)Double click the clip in the Timeline or Storyboard viewer.
2)In the Editing panel, click the four buttons on the top to rotate or flip your clip and
check the result in the Preview panel.
3) Then click Return to return and the clip will be rotated in the chosen way.
9. Crop Video Clips
1)Select a clip in the timeline panel
2)Right click the clip and choose Crop and
Zoom or click the CROP
CLIP button to open the edit panel.
3)In the pop up window, stretch and move the rectangle in the Preview Window to
define the desired frame area. You can also choose either"16:9" "4:3" or "manually" to
crop your clip.

10. Join Videos
Got several videos in a sequence and want to combine the videos for a movie? The join
feature can have you put them together in no time. To join videos together, just place all
the videos in the Timeline in the sequential order and click "Export".
11. Copy & Paste Clips
You can copy and paste one or more clips at a time. The relative spacing (both
horizontal spacing in time, and vertical spacing in tracks) of clips is kept. Copy and
paste copies of clips at the end of tracks you first target, or insert them at any new
playhead locations.
 Select one or more clips in the sequence, and right-click and choose COPY
 In the Timeline panel, position the playhead at the wanted point in the sequence where
you want to paste a copy of the clips.
Note: The clip or clips are pasted into the sequence, if there were clips on the PIP track
before the paste, they might be overwritten by the copied PIP clips. However, clips on
the video track will not be overwritten in any circumstances and just be inserted at the
end of the video track or at any new playhead location.
12. Enhance video clips
Adjustments of Brightness, Saturation, Contrast, Hue, and Tint
Double click the video or image clip to enhance on the Timeline. Then drag the sliders
to adjust the Contrast, Saturation, Brightness or Hue of the clip. What's more, you can
apply a 3D LUT effect to video clip. You can watch the Preview Window to see how the
new settings affect the image.
To Automatically Enhance a Clip
You can also check the Enhance box to activate the AUTO DENOISE AND ENHANCE
to the selected object.
Note: You can click the Reset button to reset the original color setting of the clip.

13.To Change Video Playback Speed
Double click the video clip in your Timeline to open the Editing window. Then, drag the
speed slider to adjust the playback speed of the video clip. You can also enter the
precise playback speed you want in the speed field, or change your speed by changing
the video duration. You can make your video up to 100x faster or 0.01x slower.

14. Rearrange the Playback Order of Clips in a Track
Select, drag and drop to rearrange clips in a sequence.
15. Zoom in/Zoom out Timeline
 Find the Zoom in/out slider at the right top conner of timeline, drag it forward to zoom in
the Timeline and drag it back to zoom out.
 Click to zoom in the Timeline or to zoom out.
 Click to automatically zoom to fit Timeline.
16. Resize the video
If you need to resize the size of the video, you can drag and drop the video to the
timeline to cut part of the video. Or you can go to the output window to lower the
parameters, including resolution, frame rate and bit rate.
If you need to resize the display size of the video to fit the player. Please crop the vide
onto the timeline first and then adjust the output resolution you want. To check the

17. Add watermark/logo to the video
To add a watermark to the video, please follow below instructions.

 Press "Import " button to load the video file and the watermark image to the Media
Library.
 Drag and drop the video file and the watermark image to the video track and PIP
track .
 Then adjust the size of the image by dragging the small circles around the frame. You
could also move it to the position where you need.
 Then change the duration of the watermark image to the same length as the video by
dragging the edge of the image file.
18. Ripple edit
A ripple edit lets a single edit ripple down through the rest of the movie to ensure
everything stays in sync and just the way you designed it. All you need to do is to press
the Auto Ripple button to turn it on. If you add a new element in the middle of the
project, the video with all the added effects will be shifted along as a group. You can
click the chain button again to unlock the combination.

Also you can use this feature to do the ripple delete without affecting the sequences of
other elements on other tracks. You just need to turn on auto ripple, select the video
clip, right click and choose Delete, all the effects applied will be deleted with the clip.
More importantly, the orders of other elements on other tracks will not be affected at all.
Tips: please note that this feature does not apply to the audios on timeline.

19. Render Timeline
The new preview render mechanism made it possible to render the timeline for
smoother playback without decreasing the quality of final export. When you drag the
video file into the timeline, you will find a red/yellow/green fine line over the video clip, if
the red color appears, it represents high CPU consumption which may cause laggy or
stuttery while editing, you can choose to render the clips by clicking the Render
Timeline button here.

1. Add Background Music
Adding background music to any video you create in Filmora will add a whole new
dimension to your video. Filmora offers a variety of theme background music based on
events to set up the right mood for your final video production.
Do one of the following to find a background music to compliment your movie.
Note: the music or sound effects are for personal and non-commercial video within
Wondershare(s) software/app environment. To know more >>
Select Music from PC: Import a music track that's stored on your PC.
button above the media library panel to browse audio files in your
computer, select and import them in the media library, or directly drag and drop the
audio files to Media Library. Drag and drop them onto the Music Track in the Timeline
panel.
Select Music from Filmora Soundtrack: Choose a song from an existing music
library, available for free.

royalty free music offered by Filmora, Typcial events are YOUNG & BRIGHT, TENDER
& SENTIMENTAL, ROCK, FOLK, ELECTRONIC. Select one of the events that suits
your scenario, then select from music in the suggest section that compliments your
video the most.

Do one of the following to add music to your clips
-click, choose APPLY
Once you've added music, double tap the music to bring out the music rendering
window, where you can adjust the speed, volume, pitch of the music track. You can also
apply a fade-in or fade-out effect, this will determine the length of the fade in and out
from the edge of the clip.
Note: You can add up to 3 audio tracks for background music

2. Split Audio
Move playhead to where you want to split an audio clip. Then right click the clip and
select "Split" or click the Split button above on the toolbar.
3. Adjust Audio
Filmora enables you to adjust the default audio settings. Double click the audio file in
the Timeline, and then you can adjust Speed, Volume and Pitch settings or apply Fade
in/out effect by moving the pointer. Give it a listen when you are done, if you are not
happy with the result, you can still click Reset to start all over.
4. Mute Video Clip
To mute the audio in a video clip, just right click the video and choose MUTE.

5. Detach Audio from Video
You can detach audio from a video clip. The original clip is preserved.
-click and choose DETACH AUDIO.
The detached audio clip will be automatically placed in the audio track, you can either
choose to delete it or edit it for using.
6. Add Voiceover
Go to media library, select Record a voiceover under RECORD to bring up the Record
Audio dialog.Click on and you will have 3 seconds of countdown to start speaking.
Once finished, click . The voiceover clip will automatically appear in the Timeline.

If you want to record one more track of voiceover, stay in the Record Audio dialog,
move the playhead to another position and click on to record.
Tip: It's recommended to do the recording in about 10-second sessions, easier to
remove a badly recorded narration and redo it. To remove, just right select the
voiceover clip in the Timeline and choose DELETE.
7. Trim audio file
It is exactly the same way you trim the video clips. So please here to check the details.
8. Music overlays
Filmora enables you to overlay 3 audios and play them at the same time. Before that,
please select Track Manager to activate all the music tracks first.Afterthat,drag all the
audios to music track 1,2,3 respectively.

9. Adjust audio volume
After you drag and drop the audio file to the timeline, double click it, drag the slider to
adjust volume directly. It enables you adjust the volume from 0~200. Lastly press OK to
save the setting.
Tips: If you only need to adjust the volume of certain section, you have to drag the slider
to the start point and end point of this section, press the scissor icon to split the audio
first. After that, select this certain section, double click it and do the adjustment.
10. Fade in/out music
Drag and drop the audio file to the timeline, double click it and drag the slider to select
the duration. Lastly press OK to save the setting.
11. Speed and pitch adjustments
Drag and drop the audio file to the timeline, double click it and find the option to adjust
the speed and pitch. Lastly press OK to save the setting.
12. Replace the original audio of the video
To remove the original audio and add a new audio to the video file, please follow below
instructions
Import to load the video and audio files to the Media Library. Also drag and
drop the video file onto the video track.
-click and choose Audio Detach.

13. Audio De-noise
To remove the noise from the video, drag and drop the video to the video track (first
track) of the timeline, double click it

Remove background noise.
(Weak, Mid or Strong) to reduce the noise
accordingly.
To remove the noise from the audio, drag and drop the audio to the timeline, double
click it, and then follow the same way you do to the video to de-noise the audio.
Note: Currently Filmora supports to reduce the stationary noise, such as wind noise,
current noise...etc.

14. Audio Equalizer (EQ)
Audio Equalizer (EQ) enables you to raise and lower the strength of a sound wave so
that you can achieve a good mix of sound that allows different instruments and vocals to
sound good together. Please follow below instructions to check how it works.

15. Audio Mixer
To use the Audio Mixer, please follow these instructions:
on the tool bar.
the left and right speakers by rolling the small circles in the pan. You can also go to
master section and adjust the master volume to be higher or lower accordingly. After
adjustment, press Play button to get the instant result.
OK to save the settings.

EDITING IMAGE
Images are a great way to tell a story. In Filmora, adding, managing and editing image
is easy. Simple editing features and dozens of filters and overlays effects are available
for you to enhance your images, so you can add image and combine them with the
videos for your movie to tell your own story in a unique way.
In this guide, learn how to:

1. Add Image to Video Track
To add an image to the video track, position the playhead at the location the image is to
be inserted and then right-click on the image in your media library and select ADD ClIP.
You could also click on the image in your media library, drag it to where you want it in
the timeline, and drop it in.
If there are black bars around your image in the preview, here's how to remove them:
right-click on the image, select Photo Placement, and then select Crop to Fit or Pan &
Zoom. If you want to apply the Crop to Fit or Pan & Zoom effect to all your images, go to
FILE > Settings and then Photo Placement.

Note: if you want to insert an image in the middle of a video clip, you need to split the
clip where you want the image to display so the image can be snapped in between the
parted clips right where it should.
2. Add Image as PIP
Drag the target image to any position you want in a PIP track.
To add more than one image to a frame in the video, use more than one PIP track.
Note: By default, there are only one PIP track in the Timeline, drag an image onto the
PIP1, then PIP2 will automatically appear, if drag another image onto PIP2, PIP3
appears. In total, 10 PIP tracks max are available for PIP edting.

3. Edit Image
To Change Image Duration
Once an image is added onto the video track in the Timeline, it has a default duration of
5 seconds. But you may want the image to play for a longer or shorter duration.
There are two ways to change the duration of the image.
click the image and enter the Duration time in the box. You can click Apply to
All; to apply the same duration time to all the images in the project, that can frequently
be used for time-lapse
Note: you can only change the playback duration of images in the video track not those
in the PIP track.
To Apply Motion effect
Motion effect can help you turn any still photo to an animated one.
To add a motion effect, double click the image on the Timeline and then switch to
Motion tab. Double click on any motion to apply it on the image.
To Delete Motion effect
Right click the thumbnail on the Timeline and select DELETE MOTION from the menu.
3. Adjustments of Contrast, Saturation, Brightness, Hue, Tint, Rotation

Double click the image in the video track, go to Photo section, it enables you to rotate,
adjust the Contrast, Saturation, Brightness, Hue, duration and Auto Enhance. You can
do some advanced color correction by clicking the Advanced button. Press OK button to
save the settings.

TEXT AND TITLES
Wondershare Filmora lets you easily and quickly create beautiful-looking text &
titles,with animated text effects such as headings and dialog balloons. You can also add

You can add a title for your video using the various text effects Filmora offers. To do so,
drag and drop an effect from the text effect library and double tap on it to edit the text.
2. Remove Text Effect
To remove a text effect, simple select it and hit Delete on your keyboard, or you can
click the DELETE button in the menu section or right click and choose DELETE.
3. Favorite Text Effect
To favorite a text, right click on the text and select ADD TO FAVORITES.
4. Add Multiple Text Tracks
Click on the Track Manager in the lower left corner of your timeline and then choose the
number of text tracks you want in the window that pops up. You can add up to 5 text
tracks.

5. Apply opener and end credit
Please go to Text/Credit, choose a text effect from Opener. After that, drag the video
right next to the opener. It will create an intro with pure text and color background.

Go to END CREDITS, and choose a credit to add to the end of the video.
6. Add plain text
To add a plain text title starting before the video, please follow these instructions:
1.Go to Media library and find the folder named Sample color.
2.Drag the black color or other color at the beginning of the timeline.
3.Go to Text/Credit section, select a text template and apply it.
4.Drag the edge of the sample color/ text forward or backward to change the duration.

7. Add a customized font
To add a customized font, please download and install the font file in your operation
system first. And then follow below instruction to find the added font.
You can enter the words you want into the input box
Note: Currently Filmora supports to add the font format includes .OTF/ .TTF /.TTC only.
8. Save custom text as preset
There are two ways to save the custom text as preset. Please follow below instructions.
1.After you apply the text to the timeline, double click it.
2.You can make the Basic settings in the pop-up window, including changing fonts, size,
color, animation...etc.
3.Select Save as Preset, give it a name, press OK button. Or you can
select Advanced button to continue advanced text editing, press Save as preset button
at the bottom of the timeline, give it a name, press OK to save it.

4.The preset will be saved in CUSTOM folder under TEXT/CREDIT,you can apply it to
all the projects for direct use whenever you need.

1. In the Media Library, select the filters or overlays that you want to add to your project.
2. Drag the filter/overlay from the Media Library to the Overlay Track on the Timeline. You
can add background blur filters to replace the black bars if you are editing a 'portrait' clip
in a 16:9 video.
2 Remove Filters/Overlays
There are two ways to remove filters or overlays from your project.
 Select the target filter/overlay in the overlay track and hit Delete on the keyboard.
 Right click the target filter/overlay in the overlay track and select Delete from the menu.
3 Find Filters/Overlays
All filters/overlays are albumed in the index section on the left side of the media library.
Look for the filters by clicking on the albums.

4 Customize Filters
WondershareFilmora allows you to customize effects in different ways, such as by
changing the duration or effect opacity.
To change the duration
The default length is 5 seconds. But you can drag the edge of the icon to change the
duration.

To change the alpha of the filter/overlay
The alpha opacity property can take a value from 0-100. A lower value makes the filter
more transparent. Double click the filter to customize the alpha opacity of the filter. Then
you can view how your clip looks with the filter applied to it in the Preview Window.
Note: click Reset to go back to the default alpha setting of the filter.
5 Favorite Filters/Overlays
Right click one filter effect from the list and select “Add to Favorite”. The filter effect will
be stamped a heart icon. Then you can go to the Favorite category to check your
favorite filter effects.

1. Apply/Remove/Favorite Elements
To apply an element as a PIP in your project
 In the Media Library, select the element that you want to add to your project.
 Drag the element from the Media Library to the PIP Track on the Timeline.
To remove an element from the PIP track in your project
 Select the element that you want to remove and hit Delete on the keyboard to remove it
from your project.
 Right click the element in the PIP track in the timeline and select DELETE from the
menu.
To favorite an element
Right click on the element in the media library and choose ADD TO FAVORITES.
2.Apply/Remove/Favorite Transitions
To add a transition effect between videos/images in your project
Click to access the transition library, which enables you to apply the
transition to a single video/image or between videos and images on a track in video
production. Currently the transition can be applied to the files on the video track (first
line of the timeline) only.
To apply the transition to a single video/image, please follow below steps:
 Drag and drop the video/image to the first line of the timeline.
 Select Transition to access the transition library.
 Select one transition style and then drag it to the start (prefix transition) or the end
(postfix transition) of a video/image on the video track.

 You can double click the transition on timeline, and then enter the duration value you
need. Or you can click and drag its start/end points of the clip forward or backward
within the video/image. The default duration is 2s .

In addition to applying the transition to a single clip/image, you can also apply
transition in between two videos or two images. Please follow below steps to
apply it.
 Drag and drop the video/image to the first line of the timeline.

 Go to Transition tap, select a transition effect and then drag it in between two clips or
two images.
To change the duration of the transition, double click the transition on timeline and enter
the duration value you need. Or you can click and drag its start/end points of the clip
forward or backward within the video/image. The default duration is 2s.
Note: When there is not enough media to apply the transition, it will use the trimmed
frames to do the transition.
To apply random transition effect between every two video clips in your project
Right click any transition effect in the media library and choose RANDOM TO ALL
To apply the same transition effect between every two video clips in your project
Right click the target transition effect and select APPLY TO ALL and there will be a
same transition effect applied to every two clips which are next to each other.
To remove a transition effect from the video track in your project

o Select the transition that you want to remove from the video track and hit Delete on the
keyboard to remove it from your project.
o Right click the transition in the video track in the timeline and select DELETE from the
menu.
To favorite a transition
Right click on the transition in the media library and choose ADD TO FAVORTIES

To add a sound effect to your project
o Go to Music, find the folder named Sound effects, select the sound effect that you want
to add to your project, for example.

o Drag the sound effect from the Media Library and drop it onto the sound track in the
Timeline.
To adjust a sound effect
o Fade in/ fade out a sound effect
Double click on the sound effect in the sound track to bring up the setting window,
adjust the sliders to add a Fade In or Fade Out effect to the sound effect.
o Adjust the speed and volume of a sound effect
Double click on the sound effect in the sound track to bring up the setting window,
adjust the sliders to adjust the speed or the volume of the sound effect.

To remove a sound effect from the sound track in your project
o Select the sound effect in the sound track that you want to remove and hit DELETE on
the keyboard to remove it from your project.
o Right click the sound effect in the sound track in the timeline and select DELETE.
To favorite a sound effect
Right click on the sound effect in the sound effect album view of the Audio Media
Library and choose ADD TO FAVORITES

ADVANCE EDITING
Advanced Color Tuning
Color tuning, also known as color correction, which is used to correct color and make
creative image/video adjustments in a variety of scenarios. There are two sections,
including Presets and Adjust . If you need higher requirement in the image quality and
you are sensitive to colors, it is suggested to select Adjust to do the fine adjustments.
On the other hand, applying the templates directly under Presets will save you much
time, especially for the beginners.
To start the color tuning, please drag and drop the video/image to the first line of the
timeline, and then select to access Advanced Color Tuning. If you go
to Preset section. You are provided with differents kinds of designed templates, such as
Custom, Favorites, Common, Film, Vignette and 3D LUT for selection. You just need to
find the type you want in the dropdown list and double click it to apply to your video
directly.
If you select Adjust , you are able to make the adjustments as below.
White Balance
It is used to adjust the color temperature of the video image to create a specific
atmosphere. A warmer color shifts light toward the yellows whilst a colder color shifts
light toward blues. Please follow below steps to adjust it:

1. Tick the option marked White Balance.
2. Drag the Temperature slider forward or backward to make the adjustment directly. A
negative value applies a colder temperature whilst a positive value applies a warmer
temperature.
3. Drag the Tint slider to adjust the color level of the video directly.
3D LUT
A Look-Up Table (LUT) is a file containing math instructions to replace a color by
another one (short explanation). It’s like a color grading preset. 3D LUTs are used
extensively in the movie production chain, as part of the Digital Intermediate process.
To apply the 3D LUT, please follow below steps.
1. Tick the option marked 3D LUT.
2. Select a template under None.
3. If you can not find the one you need, you can also download and install some free 3D
LUT beyond Filmora, and then select Load New LUT to load the custom ones from your
computer.

Color
In this section, after you tick the option marked Color, you will be able to adjust the
Exposure, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Vibrance of the video image by
dragging the sliders manually in each bars.
- Exposure, which is applied to the video that is over or underexposed. A negative value
will darken all the colors in the video while a positive value will lighten them.
- Brightness, which is used to adjust the brightness of the whole video.
- Contrast, which is used to adjust contrast or the difference between light and dark
areas of the video.
- Saturation, which is used to adjust the saturation of color in video. A positive value
increases the overall intensity of the color while a negative value moves the color
towards black and white.

- Vibrance, which can cleverly increases the intensity of the more muted colors and
leaves the already well-saturated colors alone. It also prevents skin tones from
becoming overly saturated and unnatural.
Light
In this panel, you can optimize the light of some areas in video by making the
adjustments of Highlights, Shadows, Whites and Black. Generally you just need to tick
the option marked Light, and then drag the slider from left to right to make the
adjustment. A negative value increases the Highlight/Shadows/Whites/Blacks while a
positive value decreases them.
HSL
HSL, which is short for Hue, Saturation and Luminance. It is used to adjust individual
color ranges in your video. You just need to tick the option marked HSL, select the color
from the color panel, drag the slider from left to right, the corresponding color in the
video will be adjusted.
- Hue: It is used to fine tune the purity of a specific color of the video. For example, you
can change a blue sky (and all other blue objects) from cyan to purple.

- Saturation: It is used to change the color vividness or purity of the color. For instance,
you can change a blue sky from gray to highly saturated blue.
- Luminance: Changes the brightness of the color range.
Vignette
You can apply a custom vignetting effect to your video in this panel. After you tick the
option marked Vignette, you just need to drag the slide within each bar of this panel to
make the adjustment.
- Amount: Drag the slider to adjust the amount of the effect. The corners of the video
moves towards black when you drag the slider to the left, while dragging it right lightens
them towards white.
- Size: drag the slider to make the adjustment of size of the vignetting effect. Drag the
slider to the left will increase the size of the effect, closing in a circle in the center of the
video.
- Roundness: drag the slider to adjust the overall shape of the effect.
- Feature: Drag the slider to adjust the edge sharpness of the effect. The edge will be
blunt when you drag slider to the left, while to right uses more of a gradient.
- Exposure: Drag the slider to adjust the exposure level of the vignetting effect.
- Highlights: Drag the slider to adjust the highlights of the vignetting effect.

Preview the instant result
After you make the adjustment for each panel, you can select a mode under Compare
Before/After to show you the instant result. It supports Side by Side View, Split View-
Left/Right, Split View-Top/Bottom. You can also press Show Original button or
select Disable Comparisonto check the original video instantly. If the final result does
not meet your needs, press Undo/Redo button at the left corner of the preview window
or the reset button at the right corner of each panel reset it.
Save as preset
If you need to save your color adjustments as preset, please select Save as preset ,
and it will be added to Custom under Preset . Please double click the template to apply
it to all the projects.

Pan & Zoom
Pan and Zoom effect, also known as Ken Burns Effect, which is used to apply to the
video or image and make it slowly zoom in on the subjects of interest and pan from one
subject to another. Please follow below instructions to apply it.
1. Drag and drop the video to the video track (first line of the timeline).
2. Select the video, right click and choose Crop and Zoom.
3. Select Pan and Zoom, you will find two frames marked Start and End appear over
the video clip in the viewer.
4. Select the Start frame, drag and resize it until the beginning of the clip is framed the
way you need.
5. Select the End frame by following step 4. You can press play button to preview the
instant result. If it does not meet your need, you can select Reset to do it again.
6. Press OK button to save the settings.
Note: The switch button at the left corner enables you to swap the start and end area
instantly. Plus you can apply Pan and Zoom to the photos in the same way.

Play Videos in reverse
To play the video in reverse, please follow the steps below.
1.Launch the program and select Full Feature mode to start a project.
2.Press IMPORT button or drag the video manually to Media library.
3.Drag and drop the video into video track, double click it (or right click to choose Edit),
tick the option of Play Video in reverse.
4. Press Space or Play button to start creating preview renders. It will play the
video in reverse after rendering.

Stabilize Video
Please follow below steps to stabilize your video.
2.Press IMPORT button or drag the video manually to Media library.
3.In Media library, please select the video, right click and choose Video Stabilization.
4. Please select the section you need to stabilize by dragging the two sliders and
press Analyze shakes to start stabilizing process.

5. After that, please press play button to check the video before and after
Stabilization. You are able to adjust the smooth level while previewing. Plus you
cans change the location to save the video. Lastly do not forget to press Save
button to make the stabilization into effect.

6. After stabilization, the new video will be automatically dropped in the media
library. You can drag and drop it to the timeline for further editing.

Record PC Screen
Please follow below steps to record PC screen.
2.Select Record PC Screen under RECORD.
3. There are 3 kinds of screen recording for selection, including Full
Screen, Custom and Target Window. Next, if you need to record from
microphone or record computer system audio. Please click the icons to turn them
on or off accordingly. Lastly please press Settings to check if there is anything
you need to adjust before recording.

4. When everything is set. Please press REC button, the program will not start
recording until finish counting from 5, 4,3,2,1. After counting, please press F9 or
you can customize your own Start/Stop Hotkey in Settings to stop recording.
Finally the recorded video will be dropped in the media library automatically.

Video Overlays(PIP)
Video overlay, also known as Picture in Picture (PIP), is an effect often used to overlay
some smaller videos on a background clip, which enables you to simultaneously display
two or more video clips on the screen. It is an extremely useful technique to help you
create convincing content when you make online tutorials, product demonstrations or
game videos etc. WondershareFillmora is able to add up to 10 PIP tracks at a time. The
following guide will provide a step-by-step procedure for making PIP videos by using
the feature.

1. Add Overlays to Video Clips
1.Launch Filmora and choose Full Feature Mode.
2.Import both your background video as well as overlay video clips to the media library
of Filmora. This can be done by either clicking the button to choose from your
local hard drive, or just dragging and dropping the video clips to the library.
3.Choose a background clip and then drag it to the video track in the timeline below as
follows:
Overlay clips will need to be dragged to the PIP track below the video track as below:

Note: Apart from your own source video clips, you can also choose from the PIP
resources provided by Filmora. To do that, simply click and you will be
directed to the PIP resource library. Choose whichever you may like and then drag it to
the PIP track, or right click on it and hit "Apply", there you go!
4. Resize and Reposition the overlay clips: Click on a video on the PIP track and
you will be able to resize the clip by dragging the resizing handles on the clip in
the preview window, or you can also drag it to any other place on the screen as
you want.

2. Modify Overlays
To Apply Motions to Overlays
Motions add a touch to your overlays. Filmora provides dozens of motion effects for you
to choose from. To apply a motion, double click the target clip on the PIP track to enter
the motion library as below:
Simply choose one that you like, double click it to apply (or right click on it and hit
Apply). Then preview the effects on the right.

To Add a Mask Frame
Not satisfied with the rectangular shape of your clip? Apply a mask effect to it. A click of
the button brings up dozens of mask effects, which can be utilized to
adjust the shape of your media file.

Add PIP Blending Modes
Click the Compositing tab in the PIP Edit window and select a blending mode (i.e.
multiply, darken, or color burn). You can fine tune the opacity until you have the look
you want.

Scene Detection
Scene Detection is an advanced editing feature offered in Filmora, which can be used to
automatically split a film into basic temporal segments by detecting the transitions
between shots in a video. It will greatly facilitate your job if you don't want to edit your
video frame by frame but would rather quickly edit some short clips in a large piece of
video.
The steps below will show you how to do auto scene detection with Filmora.
1. Import media files to Filmora. You can either click the button to bring
up a pop up window so as to choose files stored in your local computer, or you can just
drag and drop the files to the interface.
2. Once the video clip is imported, move your cursor over it and then right click on it, hit
the Scene detection option in the drop down menu.

3. In the pop up window, click "Detect", the original file will be separated into smaller
segments in seconds.
4. Click "Apply", all segments will then be moved to the video track on the Timeline or
Storyboard.

Split Screen
Split Screen, also known as multi-screen, is a technique often used in video making to

with the use of it. It’s extremely useful when you want to add something special to your

1.Hit the split screen tab in Filmora
to enter the layout library.
2.Choose a layout you like and drag it to the video track on the timeline as below:

3. When done, click the button to import your media files to
Filmora library. Drag each one of your source video clips to the drop Zone in the
middle as you want:
Note: you can check the border option and pick a specific color if you want to add a
border line for each clip. Or click the speaker button to mute the sound. By dragging the
slider button, you can customize the starting time of each clip as well.
4. In default, the duration of the split screen is 5s, you can drag the edge of it
forward or backward to adjust the duration. You can do it to all the split screen
styles except the one called 3 screen crawl.

Tips: Since the size of the split screen frame is fixed, it is normal that part of the area
has been cut after dragging to the drop zone. But you can put your mouse on the split
screen, when the mouse changes , you can start dragging the screen to shift the area
you want.

Green Screen
Green Screen effect is an advanced feature of Overlays. It makes a color range in the
top layer of two overlay clips transparent, therefore the background video clip or image
behind the top layer could show through. It's a special tool used during video making
process so as to superimpose subjects onto an unlimited number of different virtual
backgrounds, allowing you to make some really cool shots like creating a superhero
flying through the sky. You can easily achieve this with the help of Filmora by using
some green screen video footage clips or creating a pure green background when
shooting your video footage.

1. Create a Tilt-shift effect
If you can't afford to buy expensive tilt-shift lens to record one, you are still able to make
a tilt-shift effect with Filmora easily. Tilt-shift effect is often used to blur some part of
your video clip, bringing an illusion of miniaturization to your video. Here is how to do it
with Filmora:

1. Choose Tilt-shift, and check Apply tilt-shift to the clip.
2. There appears an adjust tool in the preview window. Just drag, resize, rotate the
adjust tool to get the best result.
3. When you finish the adjustment, click Ok to save and export.

2. Apply a Mosaic effect to your video clip
If your video includes some personal information which you don't want it to go public,
Mosaic effect is exactly what you will need to solve this problem. Steps are as follows:
1. In Power tool, choose Mosaic effect. Tick "Add Mosaic to the clip" , then click "Add"
2. In the preview window, a mosaic area will appear. By dragging to reposition the

3. Add Funny Face Off Effect to Your Video
The difference between Mosaic effect and Face off effect is that, with Mosaic you will be
able to blur any area in the video clip and the area won't move around while your video
plays, whereas with Face off, you will be able to cover moving faces. Here is how:
1. Choose Face off option, check "Apply Face off to the clip"
2. In the Faceoff effects library, choose an effect that you like.
3. Click ok to save and export.
4. Freeze Frame
With this technique, directors can show the tiny details, such as the expressions on the
main character's face, or some intricate activity within their hands, therefore to
distinguish or focus on the major characters or scenes. With WondershareFilmora, you
don't need any professional shooting lens to get this effect. Here is a detail guide on
how to create Freeze Frame in Filmora:

1. Import your video file to the media library.
2. Drag the video clip to the video track on the timeline.
3. Select the video and click the "Freeze Frame" above the timeline(you can also right
click on the clip to select flash and hold effect from the drop down menu). By doing this
a freeze frame will be added at the position where your playhead locates.

Take a Snapshot of a Video Clip
Taking a screen shot from a video clip as it is running is super easy with Filmora. Steps

Freeze a frame
If you need to freeze a frame, please follow above steps to get a snapshot of the frame
first, and then drag it to the spot where you need to start freezing. Lastly double click the
snapshot on timeline to adjust the duration.

Instant Cutter
With Instant Cutter tool, you can upload videos shot with your action cameras like
GoPro or other video files in format of H.264 MP4/MOV or H.264 MTS/M2TS, then
make a quick trimming and merging without re-encoding.
Select Instant Cutter which locates under the ACTION CAM TOOL option on the
interface of Filmora.
With the Instant Cutter tool, you can:

Click the Open File button, choose the video file you want from the pop-up window.
H.264 MP4/MOV and H.264 MTS/M2TS formats are supported for editing. Or you can

directly drag the video file into the timeline to start trimming, the video clip will
automatically fit the timeline no matter how long it is.
Note:
1. Ultrarapid: You can import an 8 GB video file into Filmora within 2 min.
2. You can only import one video clip at a time.
Step 2: Trimming
There are 3 ways that you can use to trim the video:
Using trimming sliders
The green in/out sliders on the timeline allow you to trim video clip very quickly. Drag
the In slider to set the beginning point of the video, drag the Out slider to set the ending
point of the video. The highlighted part should be the segment you want to keep.

Using Set in/out points
Fix the Playhead on the position you want the video to begin from, then click Set in point
button, and the In slider will jump to the position
where the Playhead locates. To set the ending point with the Set Out point button , fix
the Playhead on the position you want the clip to end with, and then click Set out point
button.
Setting starting/ending time
In the left part of Trim interface, you will see the video information, such as video file
name, thumbnail, and duration. Under the duration info, you can adjust the
starting/ending time by clicking the button or entering the exact number.

Step 3: Add Segment
Put the playhead at the point you want the video to start from, then, click Add
Segment button, a new video clip which stars from the playhead settled point to the end
of the video, will be generated automatically.
You can remove it simply by clicking the button.
Step 4: Preview
Press the Space key (or click the Play button) to preview the video clip. You can
set the preview starting point by locating the red Playhead in the timeline at any position
you want.

If you want to preview a specific scene, you can just drag the Playhead over the
timeline, or click the button to preview the video frame by frame.
Step 5: Export
After finish the trimming, click Export button to save or upgrade your video clips to the
next level.
Save to: Choose the location path for your video clip, or it will be saved under
C:UsersAdministratorDocumentsWondershare FilmoraLosslessPath by default.
Open Output Folder: Choose Open Output Folder and the output folder will be opened
automatically once the export finished.
Send to Filmora: Choose Send to Filmora, to enter the Full Feature Mode, in which
you can edit your video clips with more editing features.
Do Nothing: Choose Do Nothing to save your video clips without any further actions.
You can continue your work in the Instant Cutter tool interface.
Click OK to execute the export process.
Section 2: Merge Video Clips
This feature allows you to combine two or more video clips together to create a new
video clip.

Step 1: Import video clips
Click the Open File button, choose two or more video files you want from your
computer. Or you can directly drag the video files into the timeline to start merging:
Requirement: The video clips you want to merge together should be shot by one
device, which means that they must have the same resolution and frame rate, etc.
The selected video clip will automatically fit the timeline no matter how long it is.
You can check the total duration at the left corner of Merge interface:

Step 2: Reorder the clips
If you want to change the order of the imported video clips, you can select the clip you
want to reorder, hover the cursor over this icon until a mark like a hand appears,
then press the right click and drag the clip to the right position.

To remove a clip, select it and click the button.
Step 3: Preview
Please follow the Step 4: Preview of Section 1: Trim Video Clips
Step 4: Export
After finish the merging, click Export button, and all your video clips will be save as one.

Fix and Correction
Action Cam Tool is a standalone toolbox designed especially for action cam users, it
offers various practical features such as video stabilization, fisheye correction, speed
adjustment, and color correction to help you fix and edit your high resolution videos
easily and quickly.
To access this feature, select Action Cam Tool on the interface of Filmora.

4.Actioncam tool timeline, 5.zoom on timeline, 6.preview
Click on the Fix tab to correct fisheye lens, stabilize shaky video clips and reduce audio
noise.
Step 1: Import video files
Click on Import button or directly drag and drop your video clip into the timeline for
further editing. If you imported unwanted files, you can just click on Clear to remove it.

Note: You can only import one clip at a time.
Step 2: Lens correction
Enable Lens Correction option, then from the drop-down lists, select the camera model
and the capture mode your video shot with. Once selected, Filmora will correct the
distorted video automatically. Or you can manually adjust the correction level by
dragging the slide bar:

You can check the real time result in preview window.
Step 3: Video Stabilization
Camera shake causes visible frame-to-frame jitter in the recorded video, with Video
Stabilization feature in Filmora, the video clip can be smoothed quickly and easily.
Select Stabilization option, drag the slider to increase or decrease the stabilization
level, you will see the image will be zoomed in while increasing the stabilization level.
Step 4: Audio Denoise
Use the Audio Denoise feature to remove the continuous steady-state noises from your
recorded video. Enable Audio Denoise option, drag the slider to increase or decrease
the level. Make sure to have your headset on to verify the result clearly.

Step 5: Preview
Press the Space key (or click the Play button) to preview the video clip. You can set the
preview start point by locating the red playhead at any position you want. If you want to
preview a specific scene, you can use these buttons to preview the video
frame by frame.
Step 5: Export
After you finished the editing, click Export button to save your video clip. In the pop-up
window, you are allowed to save the video as MP4 or MOV format, change video
resolution from 320*240 to 4k, and set frame rate up to 60 fps. Click OK to start the
export process.

Speed Effect
With the Speed Tab, you can adjust the playing speed of the selected clip of video, and
replay or reverse it. What’s more, you can add a freeze frame to pause a frame and
then set the duration of the paused frame.

Section 1: Speed
Under the Speed section, you can speed up or slow down the selected segment. Also,
you can replay and reverse the segments to make your video more interesting. To apply
the Speed effect, please follow below steps:
1. Import the video to the Timeline.
2. Select the Speed Tab, and then drag the Playhead to the position where you want to
add speed effect.
3. Click on the Add Marker button under the Speed section. On the timeline, click and
drag one of the Speed Markers on either side to select a range of clips on the timeline.
Note: The length of the original range is dependent on the zoom-in level on the timeline.
4. Select the checkbox marked Speed to adjust the speed settings. Drag the Speed Slider
forward to the right to speedup up to 20X, or backward to the left to slow down up to
0.1X.
5. Select the checkbox marked Replay if you want to loop the selected clips of video. You
can replay the clips up to 10 times.
6. Select the checkbox marked Reverse if you want to reverse the looped clips. You can
keep the original audio or just remove it.
Note: The Reverse option is available only with the Replay effect applied.

Section 2: Freeze Frame
In the Freeze Frame section, you can add a freeze frame to pause a frame for a
specified duration. Follow the steps below to apply the Freeze Frame effect:
1. Drag the Timeline Playhead to the position where you want to freeze. Use the zoom
controls above the timeline to zoom in to find the frame more precisely.
2. Click on the Add button. A yellow indicator will appear on the selected freeze frame.
3. In the Duration filed, enter the desired pause time for the selected frame.
You can add more freeze frames with the above steps.
In the Apply to dropdown list, select First Play, Last Play or All Play to apply the freeze
frame effect to the first/last/all play of the selected segment.
Note: The Apply to option is available only with Reverse and Replay applied.

Color Tuning Effect
With the color tuning function, you can use the sliders to adjust brightness, contrast,
saturation and more on your videos. What’s more, you can apply the 3D LUT effect to
map the classic color space to your video clips.
To enable the color tuning function, import the video first, and then select Color Tab on
the left control panel.
 Color Correction
 3D Lut
Section 1: Color Correction
On the Color section, you can drag each slider to adjust the brightness, contrast,
saturation, tint, and vignette. Follow below steps to perform the color correction:

1. Select the checkbox marked Color.
2. Drag the Brightness Slider to adjust the brightness of the whole video. Dragging forward
(to the right) to increase the light, or backward (to the left, negative values) to darken
the frame.
3. Drag the Contrast Slider to adjust the difference between light and dark areas. Dragging
forward to increase the contrast ratio, or backward to decrease the ratio.
4. Drag the Saturation Slider to adjust the saturation of color. Dragging forward will
increase the overall intensity of the color; while dragging the slider backward will make
the color towards black and white.
5. Drag the Temperature Slider to control the color temperature. Dragging forward will
create an orange and warm environment; while dragging the slider backward will create
a blue and cold looking.
6. Drag the Tint Slider to adjust the red/green color balance. Dragging forward to add more
magenta to the frame, or dragging backward to add more green.
7. Drag the Vignette Slider to add vignette effect. Drag the slider forward to the right to add
a white vignette, or drag backward to the left to add a dark vignette.
The Compare button on the upper right corner allows you to check the segments before
& after color correction at the preview window simultaneously. While, with the
Reset button, you can clear all color adjustments at any time.

Section 2: 3D LUT
3D LUT is extensively used in the post-production phrase. Follow below steps to apply
the 3D LUT effect.
1. Select the checkbox marked 3D LUT.
2. Select a template from the drop-down list.
3. You can also download and install some free 3D LUTs, and then select Load New LUT
to load from your computer.
Click on the Trash icon to delete the undesired 3D LUT. With the Reset button
on the right upper corner, you can reset all 3D LUT effects.

Export and Share
Once you've done with all the editing works, next step would be saving and exporting
your work. Filmora provides you with multiple ways to save your project files:
 Export by Formats
 Export by Devices
 Directly Upload to Video Sharing Sites Such as Youtube, Facebook and Vimeo
 Burn a DVD

1. Export your video by formats
Filmora supports all kinds of common output formats.If you want to save the project on
your computer with a specific video format,after you click the export button ,
please choose Format tab and select the format required. Currently, Filmora supports to
export in WMV, MP4, AVI,MOV,FLV,MKV,TS, 3GP,MPEG-2,WEBM, GIF and MP3
formats.

After selecting the output format, you can rename the video, change the location where
you save it. Also you can check the output size before conversion. Furthermore, you are
eligible to adjust output quality by pressing SETTINGS tab.
In the settings window, there are three kinds of quality levels, Best, Better and Good.
The only difference among them is the Bit Rate. You are able to adjust it or other
parameters, such as Resolution, Frame Rate…etc.

In default, the exported video is in Better level. In order to get the best quality, it is
suggested to adjust the output settings as the same or similar as the original video. If
you are not able to find the specific parameters in the dropdown list, please try to input
the value manually.
When you finish the adjustment, please press OK to save all the setting. Lastly press
Export button to start the conversion.
Tips: The size of the video depends on the length of the project and the bit rate. If you
found the size is incredibly huge after conversion, please go back to the settings
window to adjust above two factors.
2. Export by devices you want to play on
In the device tab under Format, you can choose to output your video according to
different types of mobile devices you'd want to play on, available device options are like:
iPhone, iPad, apple TV, Samsung etc. You can further edit other setting on the right as
well. Click export after you finish all the settings.
Please note: export by devices won't transfer the videos to your devices directly, the
video will still be stored on the local hard drive by the default path you've set.

3. Directly upload your videos to video sharing sites
Filmora gives you convenience by directly uploading your 4k videos to those popular
video sharing sites. By choosing this option, you will see a pop up window asking
YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo account authorization. You can either enter an existing
account to finish the uploading or create a new account if you don't have one.
4. Burn a DVD
Apart from all the above mentioned ways to save your project, Filmora also allows you
to burn the video to DVD if you like. Just choose the DVD tab, and enter other settings
on the panel. When done, click Export.
