Final Presentaion! Kaitlin Freeman Wellness Choices PE 2850
Smart Goals Specific:Get in shape/eat healthier Measurable: I will do this by eating healthier foods, exercising and weighing myself weekly to see if it is actually progressing Attainable: This goal is attainable because i want to become healthier and it is something that can happen. I am also very motivated to make this goal come true and i feel that motivation is a big part of any ones goal. Realistic: This goal is very realistic because it is something that can be done and i am looking forward to making it happen and confident that it will. Timely: I am planning on loosing at least 10 pounds before the summer begins and hope to keep the weight off
My Goal The goal that I chose I was to become more active and try to eat healthier By accomplishing this goal I was planning on being active at least three times a week and trying to cut down on the junk food I eat.
Keeping track! While trying to accomplish this goal I kept a little log book on what I ate everyday for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner I also wrote down the days I stayed active and what accomplishes I made while being active.
My process for being active! Started off by setting a goal of how many times a week I would be active After doing this I started a log book writing in it every day that I attended the gym or every day I went snowboarding. My goal was to either go to the gym or go snowboarding at least three times a week
My process for being healthier! First I decided to keep track of the gross food I ate everyday and take them out of my menu for the day. I then wrote down healthier food that I should eat and began to buy that food when I went shopping. Then I replaced my eating menu with these healthier foods.
Did It work! Since my goal is not done yet and I am gradually getting myself into this I do not have an answer for you. The goals that I made are becoming part of my everyday life and I will say that since I have been doing it for three weeks now it feels very natural I think this goal will be accomplished sooner that I thought!
