EXTENT OF USABILITY AND ADOPTABILITY OF
BACHELORS IN TECHNICAL- VOCATIONAL
TEACHER’S EDUCATION (BTVTEd)
RESEARCHES AND THEIR ATTRIBUTES TO
THE LEVEL OF ACCREDITATION OF THE
SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024 IN THE
MUNICIPALITY OF ISULAN
2. INTRODUCTION
The quest for academic excellence requires
ongoing assessment of teaching methods and research
procedures. In the ever-changing environment of
technical-vocational education, the quality of research
plays a critical role in determining the overall
effectiveness and contribution of teacher training
programs. This research explores the level of usability
and adoptability of research produced by graduates of
Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education
(BTVTEd) programs in the Municipality of Isulan for the
school year 2023-2024. The study seeks to determine the
correlation between the nature of this research and the
level of accreditation obtained by the participating
institutions (Creswell, 2014).
3. INTRODUCTION
The accreditation process is a key measure for
assessing the quality and performance of educational
institutions. A high accreditation level indicates adherence to
stringent standards, effective pedagogy, and influential research
(American Association of Colleges & Universities, 2023).
This study zeroes in on the Municipality of Isulan to gain
a local insight into the general issue of research quality in
technical-vocational education. It becomes possible to develop
a better appreciation of the peculiar context of Isulan so as to
identify factors affecting the usability and adoptability of the
research and relate them to levels of accreditation (Yin, 2018).
The outputs will provide beneficial insights into issues and
possibilities at the local level of the education system.
4. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This study aims to assess the extent of
usability and adoptability of BTVTEd
researchers in Isulan and their impact on
the level of accreditation for the year
2023-2024. Specifically, this study seeks
to answer the following questions:
5. Statement of the problem
1. What is the level of usability of the researches in
terms of:
1.1 Citation of undergraduate studies,
1.2 Reference in instructional materials
1.3 Reference in preparing thesis
2. How does the accessibility of BTVTEd research
influence the usability and subsequent adoption of
research findings and technical-vocational schools in
Isulan during the S.Y 2023-2024?
6. Statement of the problem
3. What are the implications of the
findings for improving the quality and
impact of research conducted by
BTVTEd graduates?
4. What are the key attributes of
research papers that influence program
accreditation?

8. Scope and delimitation
This study will be conducted in the
Municipality of Isulan. The respondents of
this study will be limited to BTVTEd graduate
of Sultan Kudarat State University S.Y. 2023-
2024. This study utilized quantitative
research design using descriptive approach
research. The researcher will be going to use
survey questionnaire through online platform
(Google form) to its respondents.
9. METHODOLOGY
Research Design
This study employed quantitative-descriptive research
design (Creswell, J.W. (2014) state that it focuses on collecting,
analyzing, and interpreting numerical data to describe
characteristics, patterns, or trends within a population or
phenomenon. The concept of this study is to determine the
experiences of BTVTE researches for the past year and their
attributes to the level of accreditation of the S.Y. 2023-2024 in the
Municipality of Isulan.
Respondents of the Study
The respondents of this study were the randomly
selected twenty (20) graduates of BTVTEd for the S.Y 2023-
2024. They were identified as the best source of information for
this study.
10. METHODOLOGY
Locale of the study
The study was conducted at Municipality of Isulan through
online platform (Google form).
Research Instrument
The researcher made a survey questionnaire based on
previous studies (Brown, A., & Green, P.2021). and was utilized in
gathering the data. It is composed of 5 parts of question and a five
– point likert scale that Evaluates the (BTVTE) Bachelor of
Technical Vocational Teacher Education graduates S.Y 2023-2024
of Sultan Kudarat State University.
25. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
This study examined the usability and
adoptability of BTVTEd research in Isulan,
focusing on its impact on undergraduate
studies, instructional materials, thesis
preparation, and school accreditation.
The majority of the 20 respondents (70%)
were 23 or 24 years old, with 55% female.
BTVTEd research proved highly effective for
undergraduate citations (mean 4.5), improving
instructional materials (mean 4.23), and thesis
preparation (mean 4.03), though guidance on
problem formulation needs improvement.
26. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
Accessibility was significant (mean
4.17), useful for curriculum planning
and classroom applications, but time
constraints were noted. Research
relevance was high (mean 4.4),
impacting teaching methods, but
maintaining academic standards
requires attention. For accreditation,
practical applications and curriculum
alignment were highly valued (mean
3.96), while teacher development and
classroom applications were less
27. SUMMARY OF FINDINGS
The study recommends improving
research accessibility through digital
platforms, focusing on practical
applications, providing thesis writing
guidance, strengthening curriculum
alignment, enhancing dissemination
methods, and prioritizing research quality
to maximize impact on accreditation and
teaching practices. The high overall mean
scores (4.21) indicate the significant
positive impact of BTVTEd research.
28. CONCLUSION
Research findings from BTVTEd graduates
are highly effective for citation in undergraduate
studies. They are easy to understand and provide
relevant and credible information that supports
academic work.
BTVTEd research is highly valuable for
improving instructional materials. It helps teachers
integrate findings into classroom discussions and
update content, though practical applications could
be enhanced.
29. CONCLUSION
BTVTEd research provides useful
references for thesis preparation, offering
applicable findings and guiding methodologies.
However, some areas like essential data and
literature need improvement.
BTVTEd research is significantly
accessible, allowing effective adoption in
technical-vocational schools. However, time
constraints when accessing research pose
challenges.
30. CONCLUSION
The research conducted by BTVTEd graduates has
meaningful impact, particularly in addressing practical
needs and improving teaching methods. Maintaining
consistent academic standards is an area for
improvement.
Research papers aligned with curriculum
standards and demonstrating practical usability are
highly valued for program accreditation, while teacher
development and classroom applications are less
emphasized.
31. RECOMMENDATIONS
