The document describes Shannon and the author going through the final editing stages of their project. They added green screen titles at the beginning and end of their sequence, clipping the duration of the titles. They also added their identifying information at the end and positioned additional titles and the soundtrack after the green screen. Further edits were made to the soundtrack by cutting and adjusting parts to match the quick cuts of the visuals and fade out the ending of the score.
Final editing stages
- 2. This screen grab shows Shannon and I placing the ‘green screen’ inter- title at the beginning of our sequence. This shows us clipping the ‘green screen’ inter-title. We didn’t want it to last for a long amount of time.
- 3. This screen grab demonstrates the finishing inter-title being added into the end of our trailer. This includes the date, social network links and billing block. This shows us clipping the end inter-title so that the showing duration becomes decreased.
- 4. This screenshot captures Shannon and I adding the ident into the sequence. We have placed this after the ‘green screen’. Here we are positioning the extra inter-titles and the soundtrack.
- 5. This screenshot shows Shannon and I editing the soundtrack. We cut and disposed various bits in order to bring the ending closer to the beginning. The ending is faster, thus, this compliments the quick cuts toward the end of the visual. Further editing of the soundtrack. We decided to fade out the end.
- 6. Here is the editing done to fade the score out towards the end. We clicked on the tool shown at the top. We were then able to adjust the levels at the end of the score.
