- 2. Qualification for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET): - Bachelors Degree in the relevant field of Engineering i.e Chemical/Mechanical/ Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil. Qualification Condition for MT & GET:- Except in the case of C.A/ICWA, the candidate for the post of MT/GET should be First Class (minimum 60%) marks in the relevant discipline and pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates, with full time regular course from re-cognised universities / institutions approved by U.G.C/A.I.C.T.E. Those candidates who have appeared in their final year examination can also apply. However their eligibility for interview/selection will be based on their performance in the written test and also qualifying in the final year exam as per standards prescribed above, before interview. Selection, Training and Placement of MT & GET:- The selection methodology will comprise: Written Test (Objective type consisting of two parts, General Aptitude and Subject knowledge). The successful candidate shall be called for group discussion/interview. The candidate selected as MT & GET shall undergo a comprehensive medical examination by the Company Medical Officers or in HIL approved Hospitals for which the entire expenses shall be borne by the candidate before placing in a training of one year. After successful completion of training period, the candidate shall be considered for placement as “Assistant Officer” or “Assistant Engineer” in the regular pay scale of Rs.16400-40500. After absorption in the regular scale the Candidate shall be liable to serve the company any where in India for a period of 2 years under Bond. The period of training can be extended at the sole discretion of the management.
