Final product survey monkey analysis
- 1. I created a questionnaire on survey monkey for my final three products. I wanted to gather specific feedback for my final piece to see what the audience thought about it. I managed to get 16 responses which was a great result as it gave me a big insight into the viewpoints of the audience.
- 2. Here you can see the proportion of ages that completed my final survey. The large majority is from the 18-25 category which is ideal because that is my target audience. However, I am also glad that people from other age groups answered the survey as it gives me a more rounded and insightful result.
- 3. For this question, I provided some possible responses where they could choose one or more of the options. Many of the responders choose all of the options and some gave other reasons why they like the video. This was an amazing result as it showed that they liked all aspects of the video alongside their own things that they noticed.
- 4. For this questions, I received various responses. A few responders said that they wouldn’t have changed anything. Some said that another location could have been added. This is definitely something that I would have planned if I could do it again. Someone also said that I could change the lip-syncing a bit because it was hard to read. This is also something that I noticed during post production and would have rectified if I had the time.
- 5. You can see here that all 16 of my respondents said that my three final products showed continuity. This is a positive result as this is very important as it is conventional for media texts. This is because it allows the audience to relate each text with the others which makes them recogniseable.
- 6. Some of the positive feedback points include, good narrative, good locations, strong continuity, shown emotions well, audience can engage and audience can relate. These comments are beneficial as they have shown me that I have managed to achieve what I had set out to do while producing my video. These are the features that I payed cloe attention to in order to make it look professional and realistic.
- 7. This again is a really positive result for me. Making my product seem realistic was a challenge throughout the production process. This has shown me that I have managed to make my product look professional as well as making the audience feel how I wanted them to feel.
- 8. This shows a very positive result as many of the respondents said that I didn’t need to do anything to make my products more appealing. Someone said that I could show more emotion to make my audience relate more to the video. This is something that I tried to do throughout but could have focused on more when filming. Some other comments were about the editing process. This is something I could have improved on as I didn’t introduce many effects to my video as I wanted to focus more on the images and shot types. If I were to redo it, I would try to add more interesting effected to add a more interesting dynamic to the video.
