Technology now…
• When you think of technology now,
you think of easy to use mechanical
items that are easily accessible.
They are used in so many ways and
can be very essential in the world
we live in today. Technology has
advanced over the years through
multiple ideas, but what would it
belike with greater minds in 2024?
• Enjoy the future, for it is exciting to
think about in the present.
Critical Mass Theory
• Those (small segment) that
choose to take a risk of trying a
new technology and make big
contributions to the public
good. This is considered as
Critical Mass
• Cellular devices are able to
project holograms of the
person who is on the other
line, some may think its
useless but there will be
certain people who will be
willing to test it out and give
good feedback for the sake of
the community
How will Technology in 2024 help
society more then than Now?
• Today technology is fine and well, and
people enjoy their devices oh so much. But
what if the devices they knew today were
something more extraordinarily pleasing to
both the eye and to use.
• Education wise, now students have
something used as e-books and are very
applicable in most schools, where students
can read and function through a device
instead of lugging around heavy Text-books.
• Imagine something so simple but bizarre
being evolved into something greater to help
student out in the future 10 years from now.
Theory of the Long Tail
• The theory states that
“our culture and economy
are increasingly shifting
away from a focus on a
relatively small number
of ‘hits’ at the head end
of the demand curve and
toward a huge number of
niches in the tail.
• To out this theory into in
perspective, anything that
is considered new is
preferred.
The use of 2024 technology in the
schools
• iPads, laptops, and notebooks seem like the
way to go now and days and efficient to
use. That’s pretty much the way to go when
it comes to classes and study halls today.
• What will happen in 10 years and new and
innovative ideas surface and technology as
we know will have buried itself within time
and no longer be use?
• Can you imagine going to class and your
computer is a projected screen in front of
your face or staying at home and having a
professor have a lecture on your phone…
That’s right on your phone! The great
patented minds that people have will get us
there in 10 years.
Uses and Gratifications Theory
• A descriptive approach
that gives insight into
what people do with
technology.
• Research surveys
audiences about they
choose to use
different types of
media.
• When new technology hit the market
how are they placed into the
community? Advertisements, Media,
Television etc. the community
decides whether it is necessary to
buy based on its appearance or use.
Conclusion
Technology plays a major role in today’s society, whether it’s for nothing but
fun or just all business it is safe to say that it is well needed. As time passes,
technology will become more creative and much more useful than it is now.
Education will become easier, jobs will be more fluent and sufficient, not only
with the work place but the job market will enhance as well. In 10 years, the
world as we know should become an entire different place based on the
technology that will be and shall be created due to the wonderfully creative and
innovative minds of the builders and creators of the future.
