This document is a thesis submitted by Chirag Pankaj Patwa to Kingston University London in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master of Science degree in Applied Econometrics. The thesis examines the impact of macroeconomic variables on stock prices on the National Stock Exchange of India's NIFTY index using monthly data from 1991 to 2010.
