A team of engineering experts from Vermont technology firms are volunteering their time and expertise to support a robotics team from St. Johnsbury Academy that is competing in the nationwide FIRST robotics competition. The Academy robotics team has been working with over a dozen volunteers, including engineers from IBM, local manufacturing companies, and Norwich University, to design and build their robot. Despite including students from several different countries, the diverse team is working well together towards their goal of completing a functional robot for the competition in March.
