Career Navigator will change how we do business—placing our Sailors at the helm as they choose their course between reenlistment, conversion, or transition. Dix, NJ presented an appreciation award to Burlington County Military Affairs Committee for their support to NOSC MWR. 20 Jun - NOSC Rochester, NY conducted an ESGR Boss Lift to NOSC Buffalo (ACU- 2) and Niagara Falls ARS (914th AW). 21 Jun - NOSC Akron, OH will support the "Hiring Our Heroes" Veterans Event - Cleveland, OH. This hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission, and local community partners. 22 Jun - NOSC Pittsburgh, PA Sailors will participate in the "It's about the Warrior Foundation" Golf Tournament. 20-23 Jun - Reserve Sailors from NOSC Cheyenne, WY will be participating with other local military members in the American Veteran Traveling Tribute in the capital city of Wyoming. 21-23 Jun - NAVREG NW RCC will host a Returning Warrior Workshop, which is designed to provide information and resources available after deployment, and to honor Warriors and their guests. It is also a way to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for their support. Approximately 175 guests are expected to participate in the event. PAO coverage will be provided. 19-28 Jul - NOSC Cheyenne, WY will participate and support the 117th Cheyenne Frontier Days (the longest running and biggest outdoor rodeo event in the world). - 2. FORCE 14 – 21 June 2013 The Force Master Chief, Navy Reserve Change of Office will be held at 1000 on October 18th , 2013 at the Navy Memorial (Washington, D.C.). History Note. On 24 June 1833, USS Constitution entered drydock at Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston for overhaul. The ship was saved from scrapping after public support rallied to save the ship following publication of Oliver Wendell Holmes' poem, "Old Ironsides." SECNAV Directs Inspection Of All Navy Workplaces. ALNAV 038/13 directs Navy leaders to perform a comprehensive visual inspection of all Department of the Navy workplaces to ensure they are free from materials that create a degrading, hostile, or offensive work environment. All inspections must be completed no later than 28 June, and results reported to SECNAV by 12 July. Application Phase Opening For PCS Orders. The Career Management System Interactive Detailing (CMS/ID) application phase for Sailors in their permanent change of station (PCS) orders negotiation window will take place June 13 - June 25 until 0500. Command Career Counselor. Navy E-Learning on NKO is undergoing an upgrade which has been in progress since February. The last and final portion of the upgrade is set to be complete by Thursday, 8 July. All in progress courses must be completed by Sunday, 30 June. Courses in progress that are not complete will be erased with the final system upgrade. NAVADMIN MESSAGE.
