- 4. Description of the module The module provides students with an introduction to the areas of developmental, abnormal and cognitive psychology. You will be introduced to key phenomena within each of these three domains and you will examine the methodological approaches used to study these phenomena and the key theories which attempt to explain them.

- 13. Coursework Portfolio of three articles Students must complete one 500-word article on each of the three main areas from the module. Aimed at an educated audience on student-selected topics from the module. The articles must focus on empirical work from published research and show clearly how this research links with existing theory on a specific subject from the module. Links will be provided on the module web pages to example articles from popular science publications, which students should use as a guideline (e.g. New Scientist, The Psychologist).
