- 3. What are computers? The first use of the word "computer" was in 1613 referring to a person who carried out calculations, or computations. The word continued to be used as that definition until the middle of the 20th century. Now the definition of a computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a set of instructions.
- 4. How have computers changed our lives? Computers are important because they are being used everyday by million of people. Their size, their memory, and how much they can store. Today computer technology or artificial intelligence is used to fly planes, medicine, household gadgets, international communication, movies and even used to design newer and better computers.
- 5. What do computers do? The computer is very much accurate, fast and can accomplish many tasks easily. It can store huge amounts of data in it. We also get information using internet on our computer
- 6. Computers in the future! Many things have been discovered, from robots like household servants to computers so small. Some of these things have already come to happen, like the PDA’s and robotic vacuum cleaners. Quantum computers are likely to be used for business and home users. This type of computer is going to be used for or everything from scientific research to stock market predictions. These computers are likely to be introduced in the future.
