1. The Community Development Department has created an interactive GIS database and map for the city's website to track zoning changes, infrastructure, and provide information to citizens and staff. This will be implemented by the end of June.
2. A project to redesign Broadway Street has been submitted to the MPO for funding. This will reduce lanes, widen sidewalks, add parking and landscaping based on earlier studies utilizing the GIS data.
3. Updates to the city's sign regulations are in progress, removing vague language, adding sizes and allowing some window signage. Public workshops provided feedback that will inform ongoing enforcement and education.
