The General Assembly Second Committee discussed three agenda items related to international cooperation: International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, Agricultural Development and Food Security, and External Debt Sustainability and Development. Over the course of three days, delegates debated issues, formed working groups, and drafted 14 resolutions on the topics. The resolutions addressed issues like small farm holders, sustainable agriculture practices, economic zones, micro-credit initiatives, and measures to respond to food insecurity through comprehensive and interconnected strategies. Ultimately, 13 of the 14 resolutions were adopted by the committee to tackle crucial problems within its mandate.
