This document discusses using crushed waste glass as a partial replacement for sand in concrete. Concrete cubes were cast with 0-30% replacement of sand with waste glass. The cubes were cured for 7 and 28 days then tested for strength. Results showed that waste glass can be a strong, safe and economical alternative to sand in concrete when used at a 10-20% replacement level, exhibiting properties similar to gravel or sand. This helps reduce construction costs while providing an environmentally friendly way to reuse waste glass.
