GROUP 4
NETWORK
is a particular type
of relation that links
certain sets of
people, events or
subjects.
The networks are characterized by
actors composed of people,
governments, and institutions or
firms sharing common interests
and exchanging and interacting
with one another.
It covers interrelations of people,
services, and institutions beyond
the local, domestic, or national
borders and instead the span of the
whole world.

It comes from the word
“globalize” which
refers to the rise of
global networks of
economic system.

world today affecting all
societies in the planet.

For many developing nations,
globalization has led to an
improvement in standard of living
through improved roads and
transportation, improved health
care, and improved education due to
the global expansion of corporations.
However, globalization has
had a negative effect on
individuals who live in
developed nations. Some of
the factors that cause
globalization are migration.
MIGRATION
 is a movement
to another place,
often of a large
group of people.
TYPES OF
MIGRATION
INTERNAL MIGRATION
This is defined as the
process where migrants
look for a new residence
within their own country
state.
EXTERNAL MIGRATION
Moving in a different
country, state or continent
to a new residence.
EMIGRATION
leaving one’s country to
move to another.
IMMIGRATION
Coming to live permanently
in a foreign country.
FORCED MIGRATION
This happens when the state
or authorities forced its
people to migrate for reason.

production processes may be
moved from developed to

FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS
MNCs and rich capitalists
countries have always promoted
global free trade as a way
increasing their own health and
influence.
LESS JOB SECURITY
In the global economy jobs are
becoming more temporary and
insecure.
DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT
More trades means more
transport which uses more fossil
fuels and cause pollution.
CULTURAL IMPACT
Websites such as YouTube connect
people across the planet. As the

becomes more unified, diverse
cultures are being ignored.
