Honoured guests,
Global Swede is a way for us to express our appreciation of
tomorrow's innovators and entrepreneurs and to encourage a
continued relationship with Sweden. We live in a world of in-
creasing exchanges between people across national borders. This
also means we face global challenges that – more than ever before
– we must tackle together. And it is as part of these efforts that
you have played an important role during your time in Sweden.
Through your excellent academic performance, ambition and new
approaches, you have contributed to an innovative and creative
environment at our higher education institutions in Sweden.
It is in this environment that we will find the answers to many of
the challenges ahead.
