 Goal: A goal is a desired result that a person wishes
to achieve. It is a target that a person wants to reach.
Ex: A person wishes to become a doctor.
 GOAL SETTING: the process of deciding what to
accomplish and devising a plan to achieve the result
you desire.
 GOAL = DREAM+ ACTION PLAN + TARGET

 It helps you to prioritize your task and maintain your
work and assignments
 Give direction and purpose of your work

1. Decide exactly what you want in every key area of
your life
2. Practice visualization on your goals.
3. Write your goal out in complete detail.
4. Give Priority
5. Write your goal in the positive instead of the
negative.
6. Breaking goals down into manageable Steps
7. Set a deadline.
8. SWOT analysis
9. Identify the obstacles that you will have to overcome
to achieve your goal.
10. Identify the knowledge, information and skills you
will need to achieve your goal.
11. Identify the people whose help and cooperation you
will require to achieve your goal
12. Make a list of everything you will have to do to
achieve your goal.
13. Do something every day to achieve it.
14. Keep track of your progress. (Frequent Review and
Re-assessment)
