Activity Card 1 - Data protection while searching for a job online
Job hunting may sound like a “serious
and professional” sector where no
mischievous, harmful or illegal actions
take place, but that couldn’t be further
from the truth.
Dos & Don’ts while searching for a job online:
Activity Card 1 - Data protection while searching for a job online
Do: Don’t:
✅ Limit your contact information
✅ Use a job searching only email
✅ Provide your ID card number and bank
account number only after you’re hired
✅ Provide a cellphone number for contact
❌ Give away sensitive data such as your
home address
❌ Use your regular email address for job
searching
❌ Provide your ID card number and bank
account number during interview
❌Provide your home phone number for
contact
Just like any Internet related action,
video interviews have their safety
do’s and don’ts, since especially
through video, there is a danger of
giving away sensitive data.
Activity Card 2 - Data protection during a video interview
MODULE 4: SAFETY & PROBLEM SOLVING
TOPIC 1: PROTECTING PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Activity Card 3 – Digital Footprint

Activity card 6 - The Right to be Forgotten

cases when:
1) You no longer consent to the processing of your data
2) There are significant errors within the data
3) You believe that they are being stored unnecessarily
Activity card 7 - Privacy policy for your website
This focuses on the most important
sections that should be included in the
GDPR consent of a website such as:
 What type of information is collected?
 How and why you collect them?
 What about cookies?
 How can your visitors withdraw?
 Policy updates
MODULE 4: SAFETY & PROBLEM SOLVING
TOPIC 2: CREATIVELY USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
