GC Integrated IT Planning: From Reactive to Proactive Today Difficulties meeting departmental program / project demands for new IT infrastructure No means to fully understand the interdependencies and impacts of delays or changes in timing Future Case-by-case approach to needs assessment, priority setting and timing of activities, e.g. onboarding / scheduling Interdependencies and impacts of delays are visible so that action can be taken to minimize impacts GC-wide integrated approach that looks at enterprise needs as a whole and facilitates priority setting and integrated decision making New IT infrastructure demands are balanced with enterprise priorities and capacity to deliver 7
