Green (in)dispensable in architecture

Green design can provide benefits to architecture by solving problems in an integrated design concept. Some benefits of green design include providing insulation, acting as a sunscreen or thermal buffer, and purifying air. However, green design is sometimes not properly integrated into the design process and faces challenges of increased costs and maintenance needs. To be successful, green design should start with a clear ambition, create an appropriate budget, find supporters, and combine expertise early in the process.
