The project.
GRESCY – (PROTECTED ANIMALS) PROJECT 
DETAILS 
This document’s purpose is to make known the 
objectives that were set out for the project and what 
activities were done in order for those objectives to be 
met! 
For each subject in the curriculum that would be 
integrated into the project there are two sections that 
can be seen below. Section one lists the objective for 
that subject and section two lists the activities that 
were done in order for that objective to be met!
Language : 
 Objetives: 
 Produce texts about animals within the project that have 
prominence e.g. stories, tales, proverbs, descriptions and riddles. 
 Conduct research to find information in order to produce the 
texts mentioned above. 
 Activities: 
 Protected animal identity cards (Collaborative) 
 Protected animal story book – key theme (Collaborative) 
 Trivial pursuit board game (Collaborative) 
 Once upon a time story ( collaborative)
English: 
 Objectives 
 Read, write, listen to and talk about different animals i.e. develop the 4 basic 
language skills. 
 Communication with others via email or online chats. 
 Understand dialogues and other expressions. 
 English Activities 
 Protected animals story book – complete the story (Collaborative) 
 Protected animal story book – key theme (Collaborative) 
 Trivial pursuit board game (Collaborative) 
 Switcheroo zoo pictures (Collaborative) 
 The weakest link live game via Skype 
 Family Feud online game via Skype 
 Once upon a time story.
Maths 
Objectives 
 Prepare survey questions they will ask to other classmates 
 Show their findings via graphs and charts 
 Activities 
 Creating the Family Feud survey questions 
 Giving the Family Feud questionnaire to other students 
 Compiling the results received from the Family Feud questionnaire 
 Making bar graphs and charts from the results found (Collaborative)
Science 
 Objectives 
 Identify and name a diverse range of animals from all over 
the world. 
 List different ways on how to conserve and protect animals. 
 Categorize animals in different groups e.g. mammals, fish 
and more. 
 Science activities 
 Animal adoption(Collaborative)
Art 
 Objectives 
 Create a variety of graphic materials. 
 Engage in artistic activities that stimulates their imagination and their 
creativity. 
 Make different art pictures of beauty and originality. 
 Activities 
 Logo competition 
 Complete the picture (Collaborative) 
 Protected animals calendar (Collaborative) 
 Miniature model of wax museum restaurant (Collaborative) 
 Switcheroo zoo pictures (Collaborative)
ICT 
 ICT objectives 
 Use the computer safely and responsibly. 
 Create and edit documents such as essays, videos, Powerpoints, simple 
multimedia presentations and more. 
 Find information related to different animal themes. 
 Use items such as a webcam, an interactive whiteboard, CD player. 
 Surf the internet and interact with different communication programs 
e.g. Skype 
 Create games, puzzles, stories, drawings and more online. 
 Have a basic understanding of the software and web pages that will be 
used for the project. 
 Send and reply to e-mail via the eTwinning platform.
ICT

interrelated between them, , but roughly this is an indicative timetable.
