  • 30. Items for Vote at 2009 Annual Meeting:Bylaws ChangeNew StatementThe Annual meeting of the council shall be held once each fiscal year. • 31. Items for Vote at 2009 Annual Meeting:Bylaws ChangeRationaleThe stipulation that the Annual meeting be held each year in October was found to be too restrictive. A mandated October meeting meant that fiscal and council membership information being presented lacked relevance because it was over a year old when it was presented. Mandating that a meeting be held at least once per fiscal year instead provides the council with flexibility in meeting dates and allows the council to hold the meeting at a time of year when the data being presented will be more relevant to the voting membership.
