I. SCHOOL VISION-MISSION STATEMENT
MISSION
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education
where:
 Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating environment.
 Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner.
 Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an enabling and supportive environment for effective
learning to happen.
 Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and share responsibility for developing life-long
learners.
VISION
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose values and competencies enable them to realize
their full potential and contribute meaningfully to building the nation.
As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education continuously improves itself to better serve its
stakeholders.
II. GUIDANCE OFFICE VISION – MISSION
The Guidance Office is committed to implement effective and viable guidance plan for the school that addresses the
personal/social, academic, and career development of all our students to acquire the academic, career, and personal/social
skills to reach their fullest educational potential and manage their lives as healthy, responsible, and productive citizens who
respect themselves and others.
III. PHILOSOPHY AND RATIONALE
We believe above all that every student has a potential and that all school community stakeholders should nurture and
support their learning process. We believe that all students have the right to be in a safe and conducive learning environment.
We believe that every student has the right to access available services that will nourish their potential as productive citizen
of the country who has respect for themselves and others.
IV. ASSUMPTIONS
This Guidance Plan would need the support of the school and community stakeholders which includes but not limited
to:
 School Head/Principal
 Master/Head Teachers
 Teachers
 Non-Teaching Staff
 Community Specialists – Resource Speakers, Government-trained specialists
 Parents/Guardians
 Students
The Guidance Plan is based on the currently released School Calendar for 2022-2023 and taking note of class loads and
schedule. The assigned activity day for clubs/events usually falls on a Friday. It would only fall on other week days if it
can’t be helped as per the Division order. There is also an extra hour once a week under Homeroom Guidance.
The Guidance Plan will only function in an environment where the administration, teachers, and staff will be
open to the mission of developing responsible students through an evidence-based and research-driven approach.
V. GOALS OF THE PROGRAM
a. To initiate a Guidance Plan for the School and will serve as the baseline for the Guidance Services.
b. To implement a school guidance plan which is data driven, proactive, prevention-based, developmentally appropriate, and
support improvement.
c. To address the need of every student using evidence-based methods through the Guidance Plan and its delivery systems.
d. To promote and enhance the learning process for all students.
VI. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
a. The program aims to provide seminars and training to its students and teachers to address specified needs.
b. The program aims to comply with reportorial requirements set by the Division to identify needs, statistics, and process
requisites.
c. The program aims to establish School Administration and Community Stakeholders Support, Specialist Referral Network,
and As Needed Services.
d. The program aims to foster research and evaluation to improve school life and guidance services.
VI. PROGRAM COMPONENTS
The Guidance Curriculum is focused on information drive that mainly benefits the students with help of the school’s
administration, teachers, and parents/guardians. It is a combination of direct - seminars, homeroom guidance, and training -
and indirect contact - Guidance Bulletin Board and WeCare Page. The focus of the information drive is to provide core soft
skills to students.
The individual planning focuses on reportorial requirements that will provide data for analysis and interpretation that will
assist in determining action plans for the students’ welfare. The results of the government-mandated tests will also provide
reliable and valid evidence that will help form the policies and programs of the school. The above data through reports and
test data will help in the academic and education placement of students and further foster achievement and enhancement of
learning process.
The System Support is a service directed at stakeholders that will benefit the students in the end. This includes the In-Service
Training of Teachers to refresh on teaching techniques and current trends on education; positive discipline and child abuse
for teachers and parents to provide awareness on the border between discipline and abuse.
The Responsive Services involves reportorial requirements that would help in creating action plns regarding student welfare
in terms of progress, promotion, and student attrition and retention, This delivery system also would be provided as needed
for Counseling and/or Consultation for identified Learners’ At Risk of Dropping Out; and referred students who have concerns
on academic, social/personal, and career. Case monitoring is also included in this delivery system as a follow up on students
who are undergoing counseling; have been referred to a specific specialist; and students while have been place in a specific
circumstance in school.
