Her decision
Hettie Eastell, Brogan Mitchell, Lauren
      Simpson, Bethany Maggs.
Our target audience.
• We decided to target our short film at an audience who we could relate to in
order to make the production of the film relatable and personal to us. We
plan to show our film at a short film festival for students. The genre our film
will centre on is Rom-com as we as a group enjoy this type of film and
therefore believe we know what a good quality Rom-com should include
and what will appeal to the audience we are likely to have. As students
ourselves we believe we understand the type of characters our audience
would be able to relate to and find
amusing/interesting/entertaining, resulting in our short film being a success.
Initial Ideas
• Our Rom-com will begin with a 18-20 year old girl called Mia sat on the sofa at
    her home.
• She will receive a call from her friend asking Mia about her planned blind date
    that evening.
• Mia will begin to panic and have 2 flash backs of previous disastrous blind dates
    that she has had recently.
• Her friend will then ask what she’s planning on cooking for Mia and her blind
date and Mia explains that he needs to go to the co-op and promises to call her
    friend back later.
• Mia makes a trip to the co-op where she meets a man who works there called
Sam. She has another flash back reminiscing on a third disastrous date. He
helps her choose what to cook for that evening, resulting In her deciding on
sausage and mash. She then leave’s the co-op still unaware of who her blind
    date will be.
• Her doorbell then goes that evening only for her to answer the door and find that
her blind date is the man she had met earlier at the co-op, Sam, who had
helped her to chose what to cook for the date.
