- 1. How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? Ancillary Task
- 2. We used new technology a lot to make our ancillary. Not only did we use the internet, especially google to research, similarly to our music video, but we also used various programmes. We used digital SLR camera’s to capture the pictures in the studio, and edited them in Photoshop and PhotoImpression. The editing was vital to give the poster and album cover a unique look. We also used the website dafonts.com to get the writing for our album and poster. This is another benefit of web 2.0, as we entered our title and various fonts were made for it.
- 3. We have used blogspot to create this blog, this is probably the main new technology used by us. Blogspot has given us a way of presenting our work in a professional, simple and neat way. It is so simple to upload work and is instantly on the web for everyone to see. I have also used powerpoints to present some work, this is also a simple programme and works really well with blogspot via slideshare. I also have used Windows Movie Maker during my pre production, this was to create a video of my parents interview. I used this so my blog didn’t just contain paragraphs and powerpoints.
