Simple Agenda for today’s call: 
• is new to Lifecycle marketing? 
• are some advanced campaigns we can do via Lifecycle?

•Archive Campaigns

•When creating a NEW lifecycle campaign, you must also include a Default Notify Email Address. 
•What does this do?

•Building a Lifecycle Campaign – 
–Incomplete steps are now highlighted in red. 
•Deploy Email – requires you to fill out an email tracking name.

•Deploy Campaign – Notify when step complete is new.

•Data Check – 
– Allows you to create a mini segmentation rule within the Lifecycle to target specific segments based off data you have available in the DB.

•Update Data – 
–Allows you to update a data field in the DB to a specific value to help trigger future campaigns or create suppression or segmentation rules.

•Editing existing Lifecycle campaign subscriptions 
–You must deactivate a Lifecycle campaign to make changes. 
–If you edit an active lifecycle it will only allow you to save changes to a Lifecycle Definition (which will NOT take place in the Lifecycle itself). 
–A deactivated campaign will show just SAVE. An active Lifecycle will only show “Save As Definition”.

•New insert vs. new subscription change: 
–How it worked before: Only new inserts to the realm and database would be eligible for a Lifecycle campaign. 
–How it works now: We updated the logic to where anyone who is added to a new list will be eligible to receive any Lifecycle campaign that’s tied to that list.

TUTORIALS 
•Let’s create a re-engagement campaign together. 
–Create a 3 touch series. 
–Create the segmentation rule. 
–Schedule it to deploy on the calendar. 
•Let’s create a campaign using a data check together. 
–Use data check to create a welcome by source. 
–Have a “generic” welcome sent to all and then break it out by data check / source type. 
•Let’s create a campaign that includes an Update Data piece. 
•Test via API

•API call – 
–Let’s add a record via an API call which will trigger a Lifecycle Campaign.
