Lets experience the Eight Intelligences Use dumb charades to show various fractions while your partner guesses them Go through your yesterday – recollect all events which had some fractions in it Draw a tree – which shows different fractions like half, quarter etc in the same painting Think of a fraction in between ½ and 1/3 Discuss with others if it is better to talk in terms of fractions or percentages Write a small poem in praise of the fractions Hum a line of a tune / song in such a way that the first line (numerator) is a part of the second line (denominator) Go for a walk in nature and see where you can identify various fractions Here are eight activities based on fractions . Try all: Do in the order that you prefer or they interest you or you find easy to do.
- 4. Some food for thought: What made you comfortable with some activities and uncomfortable with others? How will this list be different for your spouse and child? What does that mean? In what ways will being exposed to all intelligences help your child’s all round development?
