We use “How Many” to ask for:
-Quantity (Countable Nouns).
-How Many + Countable Noun + Auxiliary
(do/does/can) + Subject + Complement?
Examples:
-How many apples do you eat?
I eat three apples.
-How many cups of coffee can you drink during the
day?
I can drink five cups of coffee.
We use “How Much” to ask for:
-Quantity (Uncountable Nouns).
-How Much + Uncountable Noun + Auxiliary (do/does)
+ Subject + Complement?
Examples:
-How much bread do you eat in the morning?
I eat two slices of bread.
-How much milk does she drink in the day?
She drinks one glass of milk.
