How negative thoughts impact us
What’s in it for you?
By going through this presentation,
you will realize how negative
thoughts impact us and how you can
fight it and lead a wonderful stress
free life.
How negative thoughts impact us
Where do negative thoughts come from?
Negative thoughts are caused by ingrained
patterns related to our own beliefs: about
self-esteem, security, money, people, life, and
everything else.
What are the effects of negative thinking?
• Feeling down. The extent of negative feelings can go from anger,
frustration, irritability, to even anxiety and depression, passing
through many other feelings, none of them pleasant.
• Physical effects: the body lowers its defences, as negativity
  subtracts from our energy.
• Closing oneself down to possibilities and the flow of abundance.
When we are in a negative state we do not attract those elements
that would make our lives advance; rather we attract the
circumstances that support us in thinking something is wrong, and
  we get stuck.
• It's a waste of time! Look at all the effects of negative thinking
explained above; can you tell me one single benefit of thinking
negatively and being in a negative mood?
Any other than the realization that it's much better to think
positively, negative thinking doesn't contribute to our lives; rather
  it detracts.
How do we come out of it?
• The first step in changing your thoughts is identifying the negative thought.
You can control what you think about. Taking a negative thought, identifying it and
figuring out why you're having the thought gives you the opportunity to change that
thought into a positive one. Stopping to contemplate your thoughts also gives you the
opportunity to make rational decisions. We're quick to make decisions about things
    without thinking them through.
• The second step is to surround yourself with positive people and positive situations.
Being around negative people makes it difficult for you to be positive. And, even when
you are positive you may be criticized for being overly optimistic. Don't leave yourself in
situations where you know the outcome is going to be a negative one. If you put
yourself in these situations you are putting yourself at risk for having negative thinking
patterns and possibly even for falling into a depression that could have been avoided.
• The third step in learning to think positively is thinking for yourself. Just because
someone is being negative it does not mean that you aren't entitled to your own
thoughts and beliefs. You are not obligated to accept other people's negative opinions.
Steps to get rid of negative thoughts
• Learn to stop negative thinking immediately.
• Do something kind for someone.
• Take A Little Walk-Fresh air and exercise can really
help banish negativity. When you get your heart rate
up, your brain releases chemicals that make you feel
  good. So, get moving!
• Clean Up Your Environment.
• Meditate to Stop Negative Thinking
•
                             How do you meditate?
Find a quiet space to relax, and close your eyes gently.

• Focus your energy on each of your muscle groups, one at a
time. If you feel tense, relax your muscles.
• Focus on your breathing. Focus on breathing in, and then
focus on breathing out. Feel the air entering your nostrils and
passing through to your lungs. You are alive and breathing –
  and you are meditating!
• Once you learn how to meditate, you’ll very likely discover
that making a daily practice of finding the peace within
yourself benefits you greatly – and you’ll also find that you’ve
got a lot less negativity to deal with, on every level.
• Whatever you do to banish negativity, remember –
you are doing something good for yourself, and
making yourself into a better person.
That, in itself, is worth being happy about!
Tips to Fight Negativity
• It may take consistent effort to control negative thoughts. Be aware of
your thinking patterns and make a conscious effort to replace negative
    thoughts with positive ones.
• Stay away from energy vampires and other negative people, who can
affect your own outlook on life.
• While it's good to be aware of what is going on in the world, don't
constantly watch TV programs or read news items that make life seem
impossibly hopeless. Focus on doing something useful and relaxing such
as planting a garden, exercising or playing with kids.
• Learn to delegate and/or manage time better.
• Get enough sleep, drink plenty of pure water and eat a junk food free
diet. Also important is to take the time to enjoy and appreciate the food
you are eating. Gulping down food on the run is a sure way to contribute
    to overall poor health.
• Control angry outbursts by walking away when a situation reaches boiling
point. Force yourself to breathe deeply and calm down.

You cannot help the world by focusing on the
negative things. As you focus on the world's
negative events, you not only add to them,
but you also bring more negative things into
 your own life. -Rhonda Byrne.

Thank You, your value feed-forward (feedback)
are welcome to move forward in the mission
of making people happy and positive for life.
Have a wonderful and happy weekend.

Editor's Notes

  • #4: Do you want to be one person the crowd thinking negative, if no then to change this face into a smiley face and enjoy the presentation
  • #5: All of these have been shown to be a contributing factor in disorders and diseases such as cardiovascular disease, ulcers, blood pressure problems, headaches and respiratory problems. A lot of these ailments have to be treated with medications and in some cases very harsh drugs that have serious side effects. The thoughts that go through your mind don't only affect what is happening in the moment but can affect your whole life. There are 64,000 thoughts a day most of them negative which I consider it as Automatic Negative Thoughts(ANT) which comes to your mind with the above thoughts.
  • #6: Because of the emotional negative state we're in, it's also easier to see oneself less attractive and not care for our physical needs. Besides, an extreme negative emotional state can cause eating disorders: from over eating to a complete lack of appetite and not eating enough (and not caring about it). Simply put, when we stay thinking negative, we attract negative emotions and events. Thus when one is in a negative state everything seems to go wrong. A negative effect in others . Have you ever wondered how you may be affecting other people because of the way you feel? Think about when a relative, a friend or someone at work seems to be having a bad day and how you feel when you come in contact with them. You could be making others feel the same way when you are wrapped in your own negative thoughts.
  • #7: Keeping negative emotional thoughts bottled up. Not dealing with these emotions in an effective way can put a person into a deep depression.  Changing your thought patterns to positive ones will have a dramatic impact on your life emotionally, spiritually, behaviourally and physically. Not only will you start seeing positive changes in your own daily life but you'll also start to notice that other people around you are being more positive because of your influence.
  • #8: Turn it around, and find something – anything – positive to think in its place. For instance, if you’re thinking about how awful it is that your friend is always late, switch gears and think, instead, about how much you are looking forward to talking together when he/she arrives. Greet him/her with a smile, rather than a pointed look at your wristwatch, and see how much more you enjoy interacting. If you are feeling particularly pessimistic, and having difficulty eradicating a negative thought or overall negative mood, find something to laugh at. Find something to feel good about. Start by smiling to yourself. You’ll find that when you move the muscles in your face into a smile, you’ll suddenly start  to think positively. The more you do this, the easier it will be. So, keep practicing, and whatever you do, don’t beat yourself up for having negative thoughts. They happen to the best of us.  If you are having a terrible day, and thinking thoughts about how awful things are, and how bad a place this world is, it’s time to make yourself feel good. Find a co-worker, a family member, a friend, or a complete stranger, and practice a random act of kindness. You’ll give yourself – and them – a much needed boost, and you’ll suddenly wonder why you felt so negative. Beginning a practice of meditation not only clears negativity from your mind, it is good for your body as a whole. People who meditate benefit in a variety of ways – they enjoy lower blood pressure and a better sense of well being. They tend to have clear, lucid thoughts, and they sleep better at night.
  • #10: Tips to fight negativity and being positive and attracting positivity through experieriences is a wonderful way to lead life. APE (Automatic Positive Experience) is much more powerful to remove ANT (Automatic Negative Thoughts)
