- 2. How important is the students’ motivation? Integrative motivation is more powerful than instrumental but whatever kind of motivation students have, it is clear that highly motivated students do better than ones without any motivation at all.
- 3. Who is responsible for learning? Learning is a partnership between teachers and students. As teachers, it is up to encourage students to take charge of their learning by guiding them and by being available to discuss individual plans to study. But good learners don’t wait to be taught.
- 4. What characteristics do good classroom learners share ? Succesful students have some or all of the following characteristics: A willingness to listen, A willingness to experiment, A willingness to ask questions, A willingness to think about how to learn, A willingness to accept correction.
