Editor's Notes

  • #2: Hello, My name is Morgan and I will be providing a presentation to show all you non-bakers an easy way to bake cupcakes! Note: target audience- those who are familiar with baking but don’t have the time or patience to bake from scratch!
  • #3: Objectives: By the end of this presentation you will be able to: Bake delicious cupcakes using box mix and a few other ingredients; in all under an hour! As you can see on the agenda the steps involved are: gather ingredients and equipment, preparation, mixing ingredients, baking, and frosting the cupcakes.
  • #4: The first step is to gather all necessary ingredients and equipment!
  • #5: If you don’t have baking cups, feel free to just use Cooking Spray or shortening to grease pans.
  • #6: Step Three is to blend all ingredients. Using a spoon scrape sides of bowl while mixing to ensure it is well-blended. Pour batter into cupcake pans. If there is any leftover batter, set it in the refrigerator and bake once first batch is done.
  • #7: Bake your well-blended batter! Don’t forget to turn your oven off!
  • #8: To frost cupcakes, make sure they have had plenty of time to cool. You can either use a Ziploc baggie to help you pipe on the frosting or just a simply butter knife will do. Just dip the knife in the frosting and spread desired amount onto cupcake! Then eat and enjoy!
  • #9: Review steps covered in presentation; and ask if there are any questions
