First, thoroughly clean the trim, including undercarriage areas. If trim is still dull, apply a restoration product smoothly. Choose a trim protectant to prevent sun damage. Extremely damaged trim can be restored with dye, but be careful of overspray. A polymer-based black dye can also restore discolored trim and protect the vinyl surface.
