Twitter has also recently announced that its adding 15 million new users per month.
- 5. The ever-increasing social network presents a never before seen opportunity for individuals to share information across a wide platform instantaneously.
- 6. That’s all very good news for consumers and for sites like DavesBillboard.com!It means that an ad placed at our site can be shared with literally millions of potential buyers or consumers at the touch of a button.But sharing an ad isn’t the only advantage to joining the social network.

The first thing you need to do is visit our facebook page and “like us”.Every page at DavesBillboard has a link at the bottom to our facebook page – just click the “Find us on Facebook” button.If you’d rather go directly to our facebook page, it’s easy – just type in the address bar of your web browser:www.facebook.com/DavesBillboard

Sharing an ad from DavesBillboardEvery billboard posted at DavesBillboard features a link to “share this billboard” at the bottom of the ad.Always included in the list of icons is a facebook link, email link (email the ad to yourself or a friend), twitter link, and a “make a favorite page” or bookmark link.

- 14. When you find a billboard that interests you and that you’d like to share with someone, click the facebook logo in the bar at the bottom of the ad.***You can share anyone’s billboard – it does not have to be your own ad for you to share it.
- 15. Clicking the “f” allows a popup from facebook to appear.If you are not currently signed in to your facebook account you will be given an opportunity to Log In on this popup.
- 16. Specifying where you want to post, adding a note, editing the thumbnail photo accompanying your post.No. 1 - At the top of the window select where you’d like to post this. You can choose your wall, a friend’s wall, a group or by private message.No. 2- Add a note to your post. For instance you might want to say “Check out this great item I found on DavesBillboard!”

Specifying where you want to post, adding a note, editing the thumbnail photo accompanying your post.No. 3 – The title of the billboard and the first few lines of the ad are automatically transferred to your post.**If for any reason you’d like to edit the description, click the text and the description will highlight itself. Just start typing and your text will replace the original description text.

Just click the right arrow if you’d like to change the image.If you’d like you can choose not to show an image by checking the “No Thumbnail” box.

- 20. To finish sharing your billboard, just click Share Link at the bottom of the window.Whoever you’ve chosen to make the ad visible to will have the ability to comment or like your post. When that happens, you will be notified on your wall that someone has commented on your share.
