- 2. The way we brought in our masthead from our front cover is by dragging the layers that the masthead had onto a new tab with a transparent background and save it as masthead so its easy to find. Then, you come back onto InDesign on the double page spread and then place it onto anywhere you want on the page and can change the size as you paste it. The mouse icon will change to become you masthead and this box appears for you to resize to any size you want. Then once place you can double tap it to resize.
- 3. This tool helps to add text of any size on any size. Different sizes, colours and columns can be added to make the article more interesting for people to read. But we will write our article on word and convert the typography to InDesign by going onto ‘type’ and then ‘fill Placeholder text’ to convert all text onto double page spread.
