There are colors in his attire that show the sins that he allowed to take him from the path of a true
monk. There are two colors that describe him completely. The colors are yellow and blue these three
colors represent the emotions greed and lust. The first emotion, greed, is shown and represented by
how much gold he wears and he dressed in expensive clothes instead of the normal, plain clothes that
monks usually wear. Greed is an emotion that monks left go when they a join a monastery. They do
this because when they become they must let go of their greed because monks are people that give to
others to make their lives easier while not caring for their own needs and wants. The Monk has not let
go of his greed which brings of the question of why he cannot let go of it. Is he that consumed by his
own wants and needs that he does not help feel the others or is because he is scared that he gives too
much and in up in the situation as them. The next sin that the Monk displays is lust. He displays it in
three different ways in lust for women, hunting, and riding. Hunting and riding are act lust because
lust is not just the yearning of sex with a woman (or a man) it is when a person loses self control and
acts on desires that are supposed to be acted upon. His lust for women that is be allowed because a
monk must remain celibate and must think of the lord. They do not hunt or ride because they mostly
eat grains
