This intercultural relationship took place this year. it was with one of my co
workers. We have a friendship relationship and clicked pretty well together and
rather fast. When we work together we are very happy to see each other, as this is
the only time we really see each other. Outside of work, we are both busy. This
friendship is great, and is very balanced. We don t always agree with each other and
talk it out, but we also agree and feels good. With Kate our intercultural relationship

Kate and I right away had some differences and were aware of them rather quickly.
The first stage which is racial/cultural awareness. We mostly agree, but they re
times were we don t look eye to eye on something. It s very different, as we do to

which develops proactive and reactive acts to achieve past their challenges. This
was a bad stage for our intercultural relationship was when I was doing proactive

The El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is a sea and air temperature anomaly in
the equatorial Pacific Ocean that has important implications for the climate around
the world. When sea surface temperatures are abnormally high in the Eastern Pacific
off the coast of South America, an El Nino is occurring, while a La Nina occurs
when they are abnormally low. The Southern Oscillation is the term given to the
pressure anomalies along the Pacific and Indian equator. It can be thought of as a
swing in pressure fluctuations, and is a major contributor to El Nino/La Nina events
(Rasmussen and
Wallace 1982). ENSO events can last for years, and their anomalies have wide
ranging impacts across the globe, impacting much of the world s population in one
way or another (Pidwirny 2006). For example, ENSO can inhibit or enhance tropical
cyclone activity in the Pacific and Atlantic basins. It can also affect monsoonal
patterns around the world, leading to droughts in some areas and heavy rainfall in
others (Bell 2014).
El Nino can be thought of as a positive feedback loop. It occurs when the easterly
winds, called the trade winds, which dominate the equatorial Pacific weaken due to

experiences. Even these events are extremely devastating, heartbreaking, and life
changing, Mariatu learns to seek the positives in her situations to make her life

turned to look, but there was no one there. This happened several times over the

assumably helped her cope with her issues by thinking that Santigie is in a better
place now, looking over her shoulder. An additional traumatic event occured when
Mariatu gets attacked by the rebels in her home village. She experiences many
people she knows getting not only murdered, but also tortured mentally and

Media Literacy and Media Influence
In today s world media literacy has become a very important commodity among
our digitally connected society. With so many users connected to social media
mediums such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. it is very important that people
understand how to properly analyze, evaluate, and interpret media as well as
develop the ability to create media. This, in essence, is what media literacy is
about and with so many different sources of information streaming through our
daily lives all at once, being media literate can not only help us discern actual facts
from fiction, but it helps us better understand some of the complex messages we
receive from these sources. Throughout this essay I will discuss my media literacy
by talking about different media products and how they have impacted and helped
shape my life as well as the culture of our society. The first product in this essay and
the first product to ever influence me was the numerous Spider Man comic books
from Marvel publishing. The very first comic books that I encountered in my life
came in a two pack at Walmart and contained the 30th anniversary issue of The
Amazing Spider Man and Spider Man: Maximum Carnage issue 13. Of course,
when I first received these comics, I was only infatuated with the pictures but after
reading these comics and collecting a few more, I became entranced and inspired by

Interest rates are a tool that central banks use to implement monetary policy. They
represent the percentage rate at which interest is paid by a borrower for the
privilege of using money that has been lent to them and the interest can be paid at

Across the United States of America, water fowl hunting is one of the most popular
hunting sports that occurs every year during the autumn and winter seasons. Hunters
spread out over wide range of areas across the United States to take a shot at geese,

do is to watch the way that each person responds inside the arrangement of the
organization. Organizational behavior is the field of study that search for the best
way in which to fit in individuals into the organization. There are more than a few

Everyday at noon the mechanics sat down for lunch and I joined them. Around that
lunch table they imparted to me several stories over the course of several weeks
about some of the things they had experienced and ways in which they had actually

Tuesday 1/12/2015 The Day one in Field We went to the sanctuary to seek wisdom
from an aboriginal Biblumun elder .The sense of place and Noongar culture was
very evident from painting, art, craft and building structure. Wayne Webb opened up

We visited the Dasiy brook farm where Murray Brooker briefed us about
biodynamic and ethical farming. His thinking approach towards soil regeneration
and not using chemicals was quite fascinating. To me his thing is based on love of
nature, affection and respect for both cattle s and customers who are buying the
meat, which is best ethical practice and behaviour as a cattle farmer. The next stop
was at the Richards Avocado farm . His story and experience is all about being
resilient. He used to be certified biodynamic farmer but he lost his certification due
to pests. Being part of a resilient community takes a lot of courage and personal
resilience, so Richard kept on working and survived, besides he still have certified
veggies and avocados are still selling in the market. The next stop was at wetland
Education centre done in collaboration with Green Energy Inc. and agriculture
collage. It was an awesome experience, wetland is very well managed and

Sexuality In Wonder Woman
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer. Sexuality, and how people identify. Our
sexualities are who we are and in this society we are often hiding this aspect of us
because we are worried how we will be viewed if we are open about it. The media
in today s society tries to hide it away and act as if it does not exist. This is exactly
the case from the recent Warner Brothers movie Wonder Woman. Sexuality is
hardly shown in the movie Wonder Woman, but is very prevalent in the comics.
Wonder Woman the movie should not hide the sexual aspects that the comics
show because in the comics she shows it is okay to be sexual, and to be proud of
your sexuality. Wonder Woman has been a hero who stands for who she is, this is
shown, but the film hides her ties to bondage, a part of who she is. Her authors
found a sanctity in bondage, and gave this belief to her. As Irene Javors states,
Maston and Peter conveyed their unique notions of liberation through bondage
(Javors 1), her two authors, Harry Peter and William Marston both found liberation
in bondage, a freeing sense in being helpless. This concept stems from the belief of
freeing yourself by letting someone else take control, associated with the concept

reader gains information on Wonder Woman s background. She grew up on an all
female island and her comment stated above explains that they practiced bondage
ties. She knew what the safest way to tie someone s arms behind their back using
rope, a common form of bondage in society. Another example of bondage in the
comics is when she states That Velma is a clever girl I ought to bind her hand and
foot! But if I m gone long, tight bonds might make her uncomfortable . Diana knows

Assessment 1 Can personality traits be learnt and developed or are they solely part
of our DNA? Throughout time several personality trait theories have argued
differently. Some state that traits are inherently part of our DNA and others state
that they are solely based on the context or environment. My argument aligns with

Throughout history there have been problems with wrongful and unlawful
convictions in the United States. It is extremely difficult to find statistics that are
accurate in this regard due to lack of reported or documented information. Most of the
time, the victims of wrongful and unlawful conviction are minorities or the indigent.

My biggest concern was the way Brendan was setup by his lawyer to be guilty
before all the facts were even on the table. Regardless of whether or not you believe
Stephen Avery and Brendan Dassey are guilty or innocent, any person can see
