Assignment title E6 Radio Jingle Production

The purpose of this assignment is to:
Develop your understanding of broadcast and non-broadcast audio products and formats.
Develop your ability to use portable sound recording technology to produce sound recordings.
Develop your ability to use audio post-production software to create radio jingle content.
Develop your ability to evaluate the quality of your radio jingle productions.

Scenario
Broadcast radio is a combination of many types of programmes and features, covering news, entertainment, radio drama and topical
discussion to name but a few.

Linking this broad range of radio programme content is the radio station ident or as it is more commonly known, the ‘jingle’.

E6 Radio has commissioned you to produce station jingles that will feature prominently alongside future E6 Radio productions. In order for
you to achieve this you must produce voice recordings that clearly state E6 Radio by name and utilise audio post-production software to
edit your jingle content.

It is expected that your final E6 Radio jingles will contain clear evidence of post-production VST plugin and audio effects automation.

Good luck!

Utilise audio post-production techniques to produce E6 Radio jingles.

Your finished jingles, when uploaded to your blog, must include annotated print screens to visually show
what audio effects and automation processes you have applied to your jingles. Your finished productions
must contain a mixture of spoken word only and music based E6 Radio jingles.

Task 4 Unit 6: P3/M3/D3

gather audience feedback through the design and distribution of an online survey gathering audience
feedback

Your evaluation must do the following:
Evaluate the quality of two of the finished products compared to your original intentions
Evaluate technical (post-production) strengths and weaknesses of two of your completed jingles
Include word processed interpretation of audience feedback (annotated print screens of online
         survey feedback)
Summary conclusion of production and post-production skills you have acquired through
