Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements

Setting

As the cutscene starts and the big monster ship is
revealed, an orchestral piece with a choir plays to
give a feeling of the magnitude of the beast and
to show its sheer power.

|The orchestral pieces could have been recorded
in a sound booth with an actual choir and
orchestra; or it could have been created entirely
with VSTi's

Mood

The mood is reflected throughout the cutscene
with little stinger sounds to signify more enemies
coming or the music kicking in again when he is
spotted by the warriors.

The stinger sounds could have been taken from a
sound library from which they’re reused. Also,
they could have been recorded with a single
instrument like a violin recorded from a sound
booth.

Game genre

Reflecting the hack and slash fighting genre of this
game, there are obviously a lot of slashing and
hitting noises like thuds and blade clashes.

Narrative

After fighting tow big pig demons, A voice is
heard and the villain of the game steps out
revealing that him and the main character have
met before and that he wishes to kill him alone.
He has an echo to his voice to make him appear to
have a booming voice and to seem more
powerful.

The noises of thuds and metal clashing could both
have been created using actual objects such as
hitting two metal objects together for the clash or
hitting a piece of wood for the thud. They could
have also taken stock sounds from a sound library.
The voice was no doubt recorded in a sound
booth by his voice actor Richard Doyle. His
dialogue was then probably taken and added a
reverb VST onto it to give it the echoe-y sound.
