This document analyzes the sound design of a cut sequence from the game GTA V. The setting takes place in a snowy bank during an armed robbery. Ambient sounds were likely used to create echoes and immerse the player in the intense environment. The mood is also intense to prepare players for the gameplay. Directional sound was used to help the player feel interactive. The game genre is open world adventure, following the lives of three gangsters.
