- 1. Why I Have Chosen To Use These Images For My Magazine Reshma Chitroda
- 2. I have chosen for this to be my main image on the front cover of my magazine to show that it is aimed at a female audience. Her posture and expression is very confident and dominant which attracts my target audience and the way she is dressed represents the genre of my magazine.
- 3. This image of an I-pod I decided to place on the contents page. This shows the reader what is involved in the magazine and also relates to one of the cover lines “i-pod invasion”. This also connotates that it is a music magazine and is an appropriate image to use to target the young audience.
- 4. This is one of the images that will be using on my double page spread as this male is part of a group. This image is suitable for my magazine because it attracts the female audience as he is an attractive male artist and also the expression and posture is young which also relates with his clothing which is also casual. This also matches the genre of my magazine.
- 5. This image will also be on my double page spread. It again attracts the female audience and relates to the genre of my magazine. Also the posture of the male draws attention to the reader and also with the pointing of the finger it makes the article more direct allowing the reader to connect with it.
- 6. This image shows the friendly relationship between both brothers. It also shows that it is a friendly magazine and informal. This image I have used on my contents page to represent my main article. This is to show my target audience that the article is informal and make it more appealing.
- 7. This will be the main image on my double page spread. It will take up one side of the article which the reader can then use it as a poster if they want too, I have also used it on my front cover to tell the reader about the poster and also to attract my target audience. This image is suitable for my magazine as the expressions of the faces are not serious, the posture is young and has “swag” and also the pointing of the finger is important as it makes the reader feel more involved in the article/ interview.
