The document presents the design and simulation of compact zigzag multiband inverted-F antennas suitable for Wi-Fi, mobile WiMAX, Bluetooth, and WLAN applications in portable devices, demonstrating high gain and satisfactory radiation characteristics. The proposed dual and triple band antennas operate at 3.5/5 GHz and 2.4/3.5/5.2 GHz respectively, occupying minimal area and achieving a peak gain of 7.72 dBi. Simulations indicate improved return loss and gain characteristics, making these antennas promising for integration into mobile communication devices.
