Seton Hall University has been exploring the use of virtual worlds to allow students to collaboratively develop projects, actively engage with course material, and become dynamic participants in their own learning through a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses. The university plans to continue supporting existing virtual world initiatives, investigate new virtual world platforms, and form collaborations with other institutions to expand virtual world research and teaching opportunities.
