DOIs of the items to be checked. Instructions 1. Prepare an Excel spreadsheet containing the details of the items to be checked. DOI is the only essential metadata and it should be assigned to a column. 2. Note the cell reference of the first DOI (e.g. B2) 3. On the same row, choose an empty column adjacent to your data and select the cell. 4. In the formula bar enter the following, replacing B2 with your cell reference: =WEBSERVICE("http://api.crossref.org/works?select=volume&filter=doi:"&B2) 5. Press enter. The cell should display data in JSON format (potentially after a delay of a few seconds). 6.
