1) A group of students at Krishi High School wanted to reduce the heavy loads students carried in their school bags which were causing physical and mental strain.
2) They divided textbooks into three parts based on school terms so students only had to carry one term's books at a time, cutting bag weights in half on average.
3) Research showed the average bag weight decreased from 7.73kg to 3.77kg, reducing the load's percentage of a student's body weight from 36.3% to 17.42%. The student body weight to load ratio increased from 2.79 to 5.8.
